as a m10 and q3 owner and my everyday is a x100v this is the best one I have ever seen come close to a Leica let alone the best simulation I have ever seen on this platform. thanks for sharing.

I'm excited to try this out! My test photos already are looking cool and inspiring me! One of my favorite simulations is Kodak Ultramax 400 from FujiX. This Leica simulation reminds me of that but with a cooler more mysterious tone to it! It's different enough in comparison. Thanks for sharing, cheers!

I really enjoyed this video! It has something special about it, just as the KZbin was back in the day - it's purely interesting without any fancy editing, milions of transitions, pumped up music and all the other "modern" type of things. It's just good storytelling, tremendous amount of passion; it can be seen that you deeply enjoy the topic you are speaking of. It's a great change of pace here on KZbin, where everyone seems to be chasing the next big thing, shout around, using clickbaity titles and this experience was so different, so much warmer, so much more relaxing and enjoyable - so I really wish to thank you for this aspect of your work. As for the film simulation - I love it. So contrasty, so strong, it's got a "finished photo" look and it's awesome. It will definitely be one of the sims I will use the most on my upcoming trips and everyday shooting, because it would be perfect during the sunny days to play a bit with sun and shadows. Thank you very much, Natalie, it was a pleasure to watch your video.

I purchased a fuji x100v to get back in touch with the art and process of just taking photos as well! I'm really enjoying the experience so far, I had been shooting film but that was getting to be too cumbersome and expensive. I do a lot of video and content creation in my professional life and I was starting to miss having a camera to just shoot stills with, the x100v has sparked that creative motivation in me again!

Its a lovely camera, and has its own unique look to images, thanks to that cracking lens. I love messing with mist filters on the camera too, it really encourages you to shoot sooc...

Thanks, I tend to use auto white balance with the simulations as in day shooting conditions it's quite accurate.

I’m looking forward to taking my new X100V on bicycle rides. Trying to decide if I should carry it with a shoulder strap with stabilizer or in a pannier on the bike. My carbon road bike is currently unencumbered with bags!

Would center weighted metering be advisable with this film recipe
@NatsWright Жыл бұрын
Depends on the scene in reality, so only makes a difference if the camera is not exposing as you'd like. I'd suggest average metering, and use the exposure compensation dial to brighten or darken the image.
