Very nice and interesting video👍. Could you tell me what kind of AF you used ( iAF , AFs, AFc) and what autofocus mode? Or did you use Zone autofocus? Thank you and keep shooting 👋.

I’ve found AFc, Multifield, Highlight-weighted is the sweet spot for me. Let the camera do all the work, so I can focus on seeing. Good luck out there 🤝

It's so bizarre to me that people complain about Q autofocus. I picked up a first gen Q recently and typically shoot manual. Started shooting family stuff with AF to test it... Totally fine! Its so reliable that I put together a user profile to switch from zone/range focus over to AF so i can grab isolation shots stopped down at random. People have gone from spoiled to dependent it seems. Same thing happened when I picked up an A7Rii a couple years back. Totally fine too.

Hi Lucien! I have a little question about your shooting style on Leica Q3 Is that DNG with postprocessing in Adobe LR? Or JPEGs directly from camera? The resultat is incredible! I saw your video about settings on Q3, but not understand - VIVID color profile is working only with JPEGs, no? Beforehand thanks for answer and wish u a good day

Exactly, dng into Lightroom, and yes you can shoot raw with vivid in camera and change back in LR if you wish. Thanks for the lovely comment, have a great day too!

Great video and would also be interested in the various settings that you use - in different scenarios. I've starting using the user profiles on my Q3 and have just set one up for Street photos using the settings mentioned. Can't wait to give it try.

Really like your explanation to what we see and how you saw it on the street. I wonder about the settings of the Q3.. do you shoot raw? What f stop do you typically choose? Auto iso ?

Thanks! Yeah the comments on the last couple of eps looks like a should do a settings breakdown too. I shoot raw, and auto aperture, I switch between auto iso and iso 100. I’ve got a couple of other little tips and tweaks tho which require a bit more explanation so I should probably put it all in one place for people. Thanks for watching 🫡
