That camera and lens are a absolute gem. Sold my complete Fuji kit to partly fund the Q3. I absolutely love the camera. No more lugging around a heavy kit. No, more debating which lens to take. ❤

I love my q3 . Having a fixed lens makes you work in a different way which helps with my other dslr. Great photos ❤

I am always forgetting to change it from macro mode to regular mode. I use the Dummy Battery and a Power Bank for uninterrupted shooting. Cheers!

I was really attracted to the Q3 precisely becos of its Macro abilities coupled with the camera’s tilting screen. like you I would like to wander around and take street shots, but also - without changing lens - c/u’s of flowers and textures of things like walls …. (Yeah, I know, but some walls, especially those build of granite, have such intricate patterns and textures …). I’ve not yet actually held a Q3 (!), but the more videos of it that I watch, the more I think it’s the camera for me. Or perhaps I should just ask you to stop making stunning videos with such beautiful shots - that mite help me to stop dreaming and plotting of buying a Q3 …!!

Love your Video!, I currently have the Q3 on order, which should be shipping out on August 16th, I love the form factor of the Q3 as compared to my Nikons Z9, Z8, and ZF. I feel that the Q3 will have the advantage over other Camera's due to its versatile lens. I'll be looking forward to your videos for additional information on getting the most usage and best setting from the Q3, you can consider me a New Subscriber 🙂

Gefen, you really do have a wonderful eye for composition; the macro facility is so innovative, & the shift between 1.7 & 2.8 wide open is distinctive, yet subtle. Perhaps one day, I may sell all my Nikon equipment & purchase a Q3, but I think you know yourself, leaving one system behind for another is a wrench; for you tho', I see a very decisive manoeuvre - & thus far, it is paying off. On a side note, you have lovely hair - it's wild, much like, methinks, your photographic style. Enjoy the remainder of your weekend ! Best, Aindriu 🙂

Hi Andriu, Thank you so much for the support here in the new channel! I really appreciate it ❤️ Yes, the difference between 1.7 to 2.8 is not so big but noticeable. The switching between systems is hard mentally, but once you pass that month or two you don't want to go back especially with the Leica colours and advantages. Hi - Do you use autofocus in Macro mode or do you focus manually?

Hi :-) In macro photography usually I take a wide shot and crop, so I use the autofocus. But if I get closer to a specific part instead the object so I use manual focus. Thank you for your comment!
