Giano Currie is an award-winning fine art photographer defined by a strong cultural compass as a result of growing up in one of the most ethnically diverse countries in the world, Suriname. He currently lives and works as an artist in Miami, Florida where he has won numerous National and International awards as well as been the subject of multiple publications.
To bring conscious wealth to his collectors, Giano brings together the elements of light and darkness to sculpt his subjects in abstract and thought provoking ways that excite the viewers imagination. If you look closely at this artists work you will notice that there’s always a hidden meaning usually portrayed as a visual double-entendre. These techniques have become the key accents that have defined Giano’s work before being produced on either metal or fine art paper.
