The M7 looks amazing, I like black paint. The M7 is definitely not my analog M , I love my MP and my 60 years old M2, but an automatic shutter speed in a M camera?

a perfectly configured M7 a la carte b/p minus the leather,,,, would have been to my taste with the original vulcanite that was offered at the program... Still stunning options, thumbs up to the black counter dial and the strap lugs.

Cool, but it looks more like a customized MP (with a different leather wrap and different rewind knob). I would rather buy a Leica MP so you could actually use it in the field.

I never really understood the idea of collecting THINGS. Yes, the piece is beautiful and I am drooling all over it of course, but I don't want to own it. Shooting film is too cumbersome to me. Collecting things is a glorified hoarding, in my opinion. Owning things to use them has meaning and I do own a few cameras, but only those I use regularly. Those i do not use, I resell so others can use them.

Sadly Leica black paint is pathetic! My Canon AE-1, Nikon F3, Pentax SP are black! It is real thick and lasting! Not so Leica.. The camera cannot be repaired! Great Leica pomoting nonsense. Sad...
