Leicester face Premier League charge for alleged financial breaches

Leicester City are facing a charge for allegedly breaching the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability Rules in their final campaign before they were relegated, Sky Sports News can reveal, meaning they could face a points deduction next season.
It is understood Leicester's accounts covering last season - which will be made public later this month - are expected to show they exceeded the £105m losses permitted over the previous three seasons.

I dont give care one jot about Man City to be honest, who cares if they inflated some sponsorship deals 10 years ago or whatever, they are all minor charges. And who does punishing Man City benefit? Other big clubs, the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal, Man Utd that despite spending millions and millions themselves over the years, don't like Man City muscling in on their trophies and competing with them, and then just doing it much much better (especially compared to Utd who have spent pretty much as much as anyone in world football and consistently failed to deliver). Why the hell should I care about making life better for Liverpool, Arsenal, Utd, Chelsea etc. I much rather see their bitter fans complaining as they get outclassed by City again, who in reality have just done what they have all done for the past 20+ years, spent a lot of money and they have just used it better.

Why is it that there is "no time" to deal with Leicester this season and potential points deduction being only next season, but Everton and Forests charges will be dealt with this season and face potential points deductions this season for the same offence? It could be argued that Leicester have already been punished. The rules meant that last season Everton could have had a points deduction in the same season which would have meant Leicester stayed up but because PL delayed action against Everton until this season Leicester were relegated. I suspect Everton were "too big a club to be relegated" especially with the new stadium being built.

So technically if every club in all the professional leagues decided to ignore the rules and all overspend, they would all get the same points deduction and effectively all start on the same amount of points.
