That scalp thing, i had that for the longest time, until my doctor told me it was alergies. It helped using some teatree hair stuff, like a infused shampoo or something like that. Hope it helps you too! Love your vlogs! ❤️

They have reusable q-tips for makeup and other things (cleaning ears) and they are silicone for easy cleaning. I feel bad throwing away q-tips too after one use cleaning makeup 😊

My hack for when mascara goes in the wrong places - I learnt this from the Wayne Goss channel- you do what you were doing with the Q-tip but beforehand you put a little blob of concealer on the end of the Q-tip! That way, it rubs off a bit easier and you are replacing any foundation etc underneath at the same time! Works like a charm I swear!! 😊

Don't worry about gray hair Leigh Ann. I'm 36 and found my first gray hair when I was 8 years old. I was not a happy camper because what 8 year old little girl wants to think she's getting old lady hairs, but they didn't go away. So I've have a few gray hairs since I was 8 I still have mostly dark blonde hair and I don't color it unless I'm going a fun color like purple.

My grandpa always called comfortable day clothes “Lucies”. He’d say “I’m just gonna wear my Lucies to the store” or “time to put the Lucies on” after church. Sweat pants, tshirts, sundresses, anything comfy was considered a Lucy. If you were looking for a easier word to describe your “daytime nightdresses”. Lol

For Mascara smudges: Use an eyebrow spoolie when its dry and it flakes off!! It also doesn't take your foundation off underneath! I have to do it on the daily because I always find a way to get mascara on my face.

Yes! i went to the comments to find someone else saying this. Let it dry for at least 10 minutes to make sure it's completely crusted. Scratches right off!

I have been using your mascara method for years. Curler + waterproof mascara (Maybelline the Rocket) + regular mascara and it works like a dream!! I got kind of excited to see you apply your mascara the same way after so long lol you'll get the hang of it again!

Leighann! I have SUPER straight lashes, and this is what I use to curl them and keep them curled: Tweezerman curl 60 curler (for round eyes), doesn’t pinch my eyes like other curlers. They also have a curl 30 I believe which is shaped differently as well. L’Oréal voluminous primer (I heat my lash curler for a few seconds with the hair dryer, get my lashes in the curler, then apply primer and wait for it to dry before removing the curler.) Waterproof mascara. Non waterproof mascaras often have a gel formula, waterproof often is more waxy, gel works best on curly hair, wax on straight hair. Hope any of that info is helpful! 💕

I get weird scalp pain too randomly. The girl who does my hair recommended I use a clarifying shampoo every now and then to really get my scalp clean. Anytime I start having that I use it and it seems to help. Also I dont think you are paranoid at all and I wish more people took your approach to this covid thing. I’m having the same issue with flaking and itchiness - feels more like a dry itchy scalp from the winter than dandruff. So annoying! I’ve been putting olive oil mixed with tea tree oil into my scalp for about an hour before showering. I also have a sea salt scrub where it’s the same mix of olive oil and tea tree oil mixed with sea salt that I use when it’s feeling bad. These have definitely helped!

I am in love with that print and I think it looks great over the bed!!! I tend to think horizontal prints work best above a headboard but I think the size makes up for it here. It’s huge and really fills out the space!

We have a projecter since years and to watch movies it's a game changer! You havo to also figure out a sound system thats works with your space, but it is really nive to be able to watch films in a big screen, from home. Specially in dark rainy cold nights. We use it much less during the summer but have taken it outside for a little summer-outside-cinema-party!

LIGHT ART | Hey Leigh Ann, two products I don't own but have heard of for wall art lights is "BlissLights Sky Lite" which projects a night sky with clouds? And for wall art you can kill two birds with one stone with a "Samsung Frame TV". They're so beautiful.

I have that Charlotte Tilbury quad and I love it! I was totally in the fence about getting it bc those really aren’t colours I usually wear, but I’m so glad I did! The shadows almost blend themselves! They are amazing!

You should try the “lastswab” it’s a reusable silicone ear swab and they have one for makeup also! The silicone works really well with picking up makeup and you just clean it with soap and water!

My sister use to make a “hamburger pie”. It was hamburger sautéd with onions (seasoning I think with garlic powder, salt ,pepper) mix in a can or bag of frozen corn. Layer mashed potatoes on top of that. And then a layer of cheese (she always used sliced American cheese) super simple and very good! Now I need to make it 😆

Another mascara smudge tip, if you have a spoolie floating around, or an old mascara wand, you can use that to flick away the smudges. You can wash those easily and reuse them forever.

Hey Leighann, I have short, straight, blond lashes. The only mascara that keeps my lashes curled is L’Oréal Telescopic waterproof. I really like Shiseido eyelash curler and Laura Mercier. If you heat up the curler with your blow dryer it helps to keep your lashes curled!

leighannsays I think the curve of the part that sits against your eyelid is flatter/straighter than most lash curlers. So it can get really close to the lash line in a more natural way. So the crimp isn’t as extreme but the curl is a lot better! If that makes sense. I won’t use any other curler.

I justified the Charlotte Tilbury palette because its going to be my only palette I travel with. The IGK first class dry shampoo (use night before life changing) and Amika undone texturizing spray are must haves. I like maybelline lash lift and the loreal voluminous pink mascara primer the best. I found the fenty mascara hard to remove. 💗💗💗

I was once sent a Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadow quad by mistake, but got to keep it (pretty great result hahah) and its honestly such a great lil palette! I think that maroon one will end up being something you reach for more than you would think!

Hey leighann, I had some scalp problems. Mustard Seed oil for 20 min before a shower helped my head so much. you might try it because it sounds like your scalp is just dry like mine was.

Try the Shiseido nourishing mascara base. It’s clear and it’s a game changer for straight lashes. Like the waterproof trick.

If you're worried about how narrow the print is then you should get two other narrow pieces to go on either side and that will extend the decor out to slightly wider than your headboard and will probably fix Grant's issue.

The best eyelash curler I’ve ever found was the Kevin Aucoin one. If you haven’t tried it... it’s worth a shot. Love the little blue dress and the awesome print! I think it would perfect over the couch - that space calls for that print. You need 3 pieces of different sizes, preferably without glass, over your bed. Texas may not naturally have earthquakes but you do frack.

Here's a tip I learned and now do in my closet: organize your shirts and dresses by sleeve length (and color) so you are able to see all of them. Sometimes you have to dig through the closet to find that one short sleeve or spaghetti strap dress/shirt and this hack made my life so much easier!

You can use an eyeshadow brush at an angle to brush the mascara off !

Hey!!! I had to respond to your mascara cleanup issue! A trick i learned from Jeffree Star. Once your mess-up mascara is dry, use a spoolie brush to get it off and IT WORKS!!

I get scalp pain right where you were pressing on your head and I believe during one of my mad googling sessions I found it was a hormonal thing. I do notice mine getting tender before big shifts like pms or pre ovulation. Maybe you could try an apple cider vinegar rinse for the flakes? It can help restore your hair's ph, but go easy-it's strong. I only do 1 tsp per 8-10 oz. Hope you find relief! Enjoy all your videos! You've been a favorite of mine for ages.

I know you said you didn’t want blinds in your bathroom but have you ever considered “Top down, bottom up blinds”? You can lower the top of the blind down to where you want, say to where you have the towel on your window now, but then you still have privacy and light from the window. You can also raise from the bottom if necessary. They are not like regular blinds, these are made of a material that accordion. My bathroom window is right next to the toilet, so I really love my blinds. Website that has a fair selection is Select Blinds.
