Glad you enjoyed it - a really enjoyable line, and the steep gradients make the locos work. Cheers, Dave

I remember Redlands Vandyke works. I put the original computer system in there in the early 1980's. Yes lunch in a pub in the village of Heath and Reach.

An excellent record of a great day out. Many thanks, Dave and Tom. I love those little industrial diesels. If I ever buy a locomotive (!) it will be one of those. And, of course, I look forward to seeing a Baldwin at Beddgelert. "Big Engines"? Well, actually, the Darjeeling engine is a good size for 2-foot gauge. As for the line itself, I enjoyed those road crossings. It was nice to see that you had shots of all (I think) of them.

Dave, Tom, I really enjoyed this video. I have always wondered what this place looked like. Although it is located close to where my brother lives, I have not been there. Must go some time. Cheers Glen

One other question... Is Ravenglass Light Rail still operating? A friend caught it on VHS some thirty years ago while visiting family, she got me to transfer it to DVD for her, that's how I know of it, so do you know if it's still running? Cheers!(Answered my own question via search engine... great to see Ravenglass & Eskdale still active!)
