Congratulations to the Bulls really well played and best of luck in the final 👍

Munster fan here. Great review, earned my subscription. I think leinster have the better team however, ross byrne at 10 for leinster struggles at this level and the leinster backline have offered way less in attack this year compatlred to previous years. If bulls forward pack can get parity and they target ross byrne then the bulls have a chance. However if leinster forwards get dominance and lmpriduce quick ball it could be a long day for the bulls

Looks like Willie le Roux will be in the Boks side vs Ireland. Extra spice. Leinster never looked composed without Keenan. Maybe Jimmy O'Brien will step up? Leinster would be favourites at sealevel. Bulls must be favourites at home.

These teams are fit, altitude won't be much to overcome
@thegainline5 ай бұрын
It's still predicted to be chilly here (20 ish). So altitude will matter a bit less I think. Le Roux will be absolutely vital.
@michaelmansvelt98435 ай бұрын
I thought so! Leinster players appear to unsure whether to attack or defend!

This has all the elements for a fantastic game. Leinster are an excellent team whose players make up the spine of the Ireland side. They are also desperate to win this tournament after uncharacteristically coming up short the last two years. The Bulls may not have had Leinsters form but have a deadly attack, altitude and an impressive home win record. On paper Leinster should have this but playing the Bulls at home should be a massive equaliser .

As a Leinster fan I agree that Leinster are not fully onboard with the new defensive system yet. But some of your clips include several different Leinster teams and probably include the majority of the Leinster squad of 40 plus players. I think the core group is much more up to speed than the second and third stringers although they seem to be getting better too. Leinster are definitely in transition though. They have changed their defensive system, lost both their chief playmaker in Sexton and their attacking guru in Stuart Lancaster in the space of a year. Both new defense and attack coaches were away at the World Cup so didn't really have a proper pre season to bed things in. I would say whilst the Leinster form has been patchy this year when they have clicked they have looked very good. I think the Bulls definitely have a chance to win the game but if Leinster bring the best version of themselves I fancy them to get the job done.
@seanofarrell88965 ай бұрын
Yep, he forgets leinster and rearly uses the core group all the time.
@thegainline5 ай бұрын
That's fair. The difference between the two Ulster games is night and day. But imo the Bulls have an attack that is probably on par with Northampton when they play well. Leinster has struggled against top shelf attacks this season and it could be a bit of a problem tomorrow. Can't wait to see!💪 Thanks for your thoughts Neil🙏
@neilmontgomery34705 ай бұрын
@@thegainline I don't think Leinster struggled against Northampton they just stopped playing and went into game management mode a bit too early, which allowed Northampton back into the game. They contained Toulouse very well who are probably one of the best attacking sides in the world.

Really looking forward to the would have loved to be there, but just to spendy. I think both teams have a shout, Leinster need to bring their best game and control the set piece and I think if le Roux can create space for his team they can also do it. Good luck to the Bulls and Comon Leinster 💪💙
@thegainline5 ай бұрын
The set piece is fairly equal I think. But in the replacement front row Leinster are easily miles ahead.
@fintanlawton95025 ай бұрын
Depending on how the game goes Porter will play 65 mins plus and if he gets on the wrong side of the ref at scrum time it can be a entry point for the Bulls. If we get good ball off the top of the lineouts we can cause most team issues if the bulls make it a mess it will make D alot easier

And, Leinster has a nagging habit of bottling at least a half in high level matches
@joeritchie24 ай бұрын
The loss of Arendse is massive. Your observation that that may equal a couple of tries that the Bulls wouldn’t score is spot-on. Moodie also is a game-breaking talent. Playing at Loftus may be a bit of an equalizer, but Leinster would seem to be the favorites.
@JbRezurectd5 ай бұрын
Honestly, I can't see the bulls winning this. Hope I'm wrong but Leinster could knock over many international sides with ease imo. Bulls really struggle when their bench comes on. I think they will have to start well and hope its enough when the inevitable storm comes. Fall behind early and its over

@neilmontgomery34705 ай бұрын
It's a good time to knock over Leinster. They are in transition and their form is probably the worst it has been in years. They will be much better next year when new systems are bedded in properly and an infusion of new players will raise their level.

I don't think you can read too much into those games tbh. Bulls have been playing a full strength team every week while Leinster have rotated heavily. Leinster's full strength games were against Toulouse and Ulster where they put in really good performances. It's going to be a massive one💪

Don't be using your injured players as an bloody excuse WHEN you lose. You Saffas always have an excuse. You're covering yourself before a ball has even been kicked. So annoying!!!

These are all humans. If I told you last Saturday evening to get your team to SA , do a game plan, bow to your Superiors (IRFU) to make sure you don't injure your International Players, and still produce the unthinkable gameplan which Bulls have NEVER assessed, teach it, work it, adjust the the Climate change and Jet lag, and have next to no Travelling Support (even as the URC record holders by a Country Mile) because it's simply not possible to get half way around the globe in these numbers regardless of Value for money at €1978 each way per person as the only offer, would you be confident going into this match as a fellow Leinster Supporter? .....HELL YEH, Bring us into your thicket and we will release Leo's Lions on your Bulls. You are right. On field Player Intelligence will win this one.

How is Leinster the "URC record holders"? Please explain? They have yet to make the URC final. The first final was between the Stormers and the Bulls, which the Stormers won, the second was between the Stormers and Munster, which Munster won.
