Give Ross Byrne his dues that was perfectly played.

Ross is good player. He can run moves really well. His one big failing is that he offers little running threat. He either won’t or can’t make breaks himself so the defence can almost ignore him and concentrate on the next man out. If he had a turn of pace and an eye for a gap, he has the skills to put lads through left right and centre.

It was such a nice pass. To the line, accurate and all at speed!

Lovely analysis. What a strike play very hard to defend.

Thanks for taking a look! It's not easy to get width from a front jump at the LO but the pass to McGraph from Penny set it all up. Then the timing of Byrne's pass to a hidden Osborne was exceptional!

Leinster fans are complaining that they are not scoring as many tries as they used to when Stuart Lancaster used to coach their attack. However, this clip shows that they are still capable of working excellent attacking moves that lead to brilliant tries.

That's interesting! When it gets to crunch time, it's going to be fun to see how they overcome their recent playoff woes!

I genuinely haven't seen any Leinster fans complaining. Where and when did you see this ?

They will be giving the defence the 'eyes' as well 🤗

The old blindside winger comes int9 the line move, used to do this at school and club level in the 70s. We just didn’t have all week to practise it.

A great way to create the overlap!

It’s worth pointing out the fundamental problem for the defending team which makes an attacking line out so dangerous in the 22. The blindside winger (Mack Hanson I believe) has GOT to stay on his wing to defend the kicking threat. But his opposite man (11, try scorer) can come over to give the man advantage. It is the building block of so many of these moves.
@ContactCoach11 күн бұрын
Yes, it's an interesting one. Sometimes, teams will add the winger to the main defensive line and have the 9 cover the blindside and backfield.

Beautiful try i think Wales scored one like that against England and Reiko ione of All Blacks scored a similar one against Wales. As they used to say on the A team...I love it when a plan comes together.

Great stuff. Shouldn’t have Osborne be Hansen’s responsibility? Track him across?

Probably Chris Busby's job in Mack's mind.

Mack has to hug his wing until the last safe moment because of the kick threat.

Even with this near perfect play the weak link is Luke's pass. All other facets of his game are pretty strong, but his passing is just too much of a problem in his game

Can you do an analysis of the head contact clear out on Bundi? Selective ref & tmo blindness?
@inBODwetrust1313 күн бұрын
You mean the pathetic dive after a small brush? If that's anything but probably only, Ioane should've seen red for the shot on Gus McCarthy, the hit on Soroka was ignored, and Josh Murphy trying to punch Snyman should've been gone. Mack Hansen's whinging was pathetic and deserves a long ban
@TeezerDriz13 күн бұрын
@inBODwetrust13 it wasn't a "small brush". Contact to the head is dangerous. The rules are there to protect players.

Barret did not draw the defender .....he obstructed him.
@icefarrow795913 күн бұрын
No, he didn't. It's only an obstruction if he never was in a position to receive the ball, but he was. Also, Barrett brings up his hands shortly after, indicating he was expecting to run the line.

Ross burn is not good enough to play at 10 ,Cullen for some reason keeps playing him, pendergast should be the number one ten ,frawley should be his back up, and for ireland as well, not because they play for leinster , jack crowley ,hasn't been playing well, for a long time, Andy farrell cen see this, but Cullen can't,,

Do you think it's a squad rotation thing going on? That also has its risks but a lot of upside, too.
