Come sempre, grandissime congratulazioni a Leitner, sempre al top in questo campo EN: I've seen this video at least 15 times, crazy graphics, hyper advanced technologies and great design, it would be great to have a model of this system, it's really crazy, the station above all.As always, big congratulations to Leitner, always at the top in this field.

@LEITNERofficial5 жыл бұрын
LG Dein LEITNER Marketing-Team

What if the chair bounces up? Cant it just lift off the upper cable? The rollers are only on the top not bottom.
@LEITNERofficial2 жыл бұрын
Hello Will, I don´t know if I get you right. do you mean the cabin as there are no chairs on a 2S System. Best regards LEITNER Marketing
@willgraves12582 жыл бұрын
@@LEITNERofficial yes I meant the cabin sorry. my concern is that there are only rollers/ wheels in the top of the upper cable. So wouldn't that mean it could be lifted off? I know there is a lower cable for moving the cabin but the two cables are not bound so they can move freely from one another I assume.
@mountainstar55852 жыл бұрын
@@willgraves1258 There is an anti-derailment device on the carrier (both sides of the rope) that prevents the vehicle from jumping off the rope.

This was a neat video, but you need to give comparisons for there to be advantages conveyed; this was more just a list of features. Without any comparisons I don't really have anything to go on; this video could be the ropeway equivalent of saying "This car has an industry-leading four wheels, four doors, and a steering mechanism."
@LEITNERofficial2 жыл бұрын
The aim of this video was not to make a comparison but to show how the 2S system from LEITNER works. For many people who are familiar with the 2S technology, the video provides information on where improvements have been made to an existing 2S system. Best regards LEITNER Marketing

What is the tensioning unit for?
@Varadero1244 жыл бұрын
@Leitner ropeways correct me if I am wrong, but every lift/ropeway needs to tension the cable. If a cable has not enough tension it will rip under heavy load. Furthermore you need to prevent slack of the rope. And of course to cope with deformation by temperature. THe most basic reason for rope tension is so the rope adheres to to the bullwheels and does not slip. I am sure there are more reasons but these are the ones I know.
@the_retag3 жыл бұрын
The holding cable is also moved during maintenance for even wear
@caiwilkie64533 жыл бұрын
the more load the cabins have the slacker the cable gets, to prevent overloading the towers, bull wheels...

If you can't increase the wind stability, people per hour or speed with this 2S system, I still see no reason to have this system. It looks great and well designed, but when Doppelmayr can create a fast system in Sölden with a 1S system, what justifies this? After all, Leitner made a 1S Cable Gondola in Kitzski with a speed of 7m/s. Why didn't they choose the 2S System?
@LEITNERofficial4 жыл бұрын
Hello Karasaph Exonar, In any case, a 2S system is more wind stable than a 1S system especially if there is a larger distance between the towers. Furthermore, fewer towers are required. It´s not always about increasing the transport capacity or the speed, it´s about customization and in the end of fulfilling the needs of our customers (due to official regulations, topography,...). Best regards LEITNER Marketing-Team
