It is made in China like most electronics. I've been using my tuner by them since they sent it to me and I love it. Just being able to charge it with a USB to my computer is great and it lasts forever.

Is it Micro USB or USB-C?

It’s USB. It comes with the charging cable you need. I plug it in my computer or the wall brick so I know it’s USB.

The newer USB-C plug is symmetric and fits into the socket either way where as a Micro-USB plug doesn't. It's much more durable, that's why I was asking.

ok. when I'm charging them they are just hanging down from the computer with the micro usb cable. Probably won't last a long time with that way of charging. Part of them being so affordable. I can say that I still use them everyday when I'm teaching guitar and they are holding up so far.
