what a good idea. The amount of times I go to use my tuner and the battery is flat is crazy so this is very useful.

Still have my 40 year old pitch pipes for guitar & uke ! They still work though i do have a couple of these "new fangled" electronic ones too - beats lugging a piano around if there isn't one in the room ! Woofs😊

I didn't know rechargeable tuners existed! The snark tuners have served me well, but I'll definitely switch to rechargeable when they stop working. I hate changing CR batteries.

The best tuner I have is the one which has a battery but switches itself off after 10 minutes or so if it doesn't detect any use.

re: Ukulele Tuning - there are two different tunings still, I suppose. The Hawaiaan (C tuning) and the Classical (D tuning). To what are those tuners referring to? Thx And yes, rechargeable is most convenient.

Great question Kunibert. Generally, if it doesn’t state anything different, most of the U settings are uke in C tuning. There are some tuners though that will have a UC and UD setting or U1 and U2. 👍

Kala included a rechargable with my UBass. Takes longer to charge than to slip a new battery in - just sayin'. I like it.

Love the rechargeable tuners Alan, apart from anything else, they do show how much battery life is left. 👍

Hmmm, interesting. I also didn’t know you could get rechargeable ones. But I’m very fussy about my tuners - I do like to know they are really accurate. And so many of them don’t pick up the E string on a bass uke. I’d be interested to know if your Lekato one does. I always buy Unitune tuners….but they are pricy.

Hi Eileen, yes, the Lekato tuner definitely works with the basses and always with the E too. I really should have included this in the video, I just didn’t think!! I’d noticed some of the tuners are not great with the basses but this one is. 👍

Hi Rachel, does it work ok on your basses. I find that my snark tuner sometimes has trouble reading the E string correctly.

Yes Derek, it works perfectly. I REALLY should have shown this in the video, I just didn’t think.
