എന്റെ ഒരു ഓർമ്മക്കുറിപ്പ് ഇവിടെ കിടക്കട്ടെ പറശ്ശിനിക്കടവ് ഹെെസ്കൂളില് എട്ടാം തരത്തില് പഠിക്കുന്ന കാലം , പ്രശസ്ഥമായ പറശ്ശിനിക്കടവ് മുത്തപ്പന് മടപ്പുരയോടെ അടുത്താണ് സ്കൂള് ,സ്കൂളിലെ ആയിരത്തിലധീകം വരുന്ന കുട്ടികള് ദിവസേന ഉച്ച ഭക്ഷണം കഴിക്കുന്നത് മടപ്പുരയില് നിന്നാണ്. ജാതി വിവേചനം ഇല്ലാതെ ആര്ക്കും വയറു നിറയെ ഭക്ഷണം കഴിക്കാം എന്റെ മനസ്സില് ഒളി മങ്ങാത്ത ഓര്മകളായി ഇന്നും ആ സ്മരണകള്നില നില്ക്കുന്നു. ഒരു മണിക്ക് ബെല്ലടിച്ചാലുടന് ഒറ്റയോട്ടമാണ് , ഏകദേശം ആയിരത്തിലധീകം വരുന്ന പടികള് കണ്ണടച്ച് തുറക്കും മുമ്പ് ചാടി ഇറങ്ങി ഭക്ഷണശാലയുടെ മുന്നില് വരി വരിയായി നില്ക്കും [വെറുതെയാട്ടോ വരി കണ്ണടച്ച് വരിയായി നില്ക്കാന് അതുംകുരുത്തം കെട്ട ഈ ഞാന് , അവിടെ പിന്നെ ഒരാള്ക്കും നില്ക്കാന് സാധിക്കില്ല എന്തൊരു ഒച്ചപ്പാടണെന്നോ . ഹൊ ഓര്ക്കാന് കൂടി വയ്യ] . ....... ആദൃം എത്താനുള്ള ആക്രാന്ത്തിനിടയില് എത്ര തവണ വീണിരീക്കുന്നു ഭക്ഷണം കഴിക്കാന് കയറ്റി തുടങ്ങുമ്പോഴേക്കും തുടങ്ങി തിക്കും തിരക്കും . ഭക്ഷണം കഴിക്കാനുള്ള ഇല തരുമ്പോള് തന്നെ തുടങ്ങും അടുത്ത പ്രശ്നം . കിട്ടുന്നത് ചെറിയ ഇല ആണെങ്കില് കുരുത്തം കെട്ട പിള്ളേര് തന്നെ അത്കീറീ വലിയ ഇല വാങ്ങാന് നോക്കും. കിട്ടിയാ കിട്ടി . ഇല വിതരണം ചെയ്യുന്ന നാരായണേട്ടന്റെ മുഖം അപ്പോഴേക്കും ചുവന്നിരിക്കും . ചോറിനോടപ്പം സാമ്പാറും മോരുകറിയും കൂട്ടി ഒറ്റ ഇരിപ്പിനു വാരി വലിച്ചു തിന്നയുടനെ കെെയും കഴുകി രണ്ട്ഗ്ലാസ്സ് കഞ്ഞീം വെള്ളവും കുടിച്ച ശേഷം വീണ്ടും ഒറ്റയോട്ടം എവിടേക്കാണന്നല്ലേ , മുത്തപ്പന്റെ പ്രസാധമായ പയര് പുഴുങ്ങിയത് വാങ്ങാന്. എന്തൊരു സ്വാധാണെന്നോ . അത് രണ്ട് തവണയെങ്കിലും വാങ്ങും . പാന്റിന്റ കീശയില് പയറുംഇട്ട് സാവാധാനം പടികള് കയറാന് തുടങ്ങും . എപ്പോഴും ഭക്ഷണം കഴിച്ചെഴുന്നേല്‍ക്കുന്നത് ഈ ഞാന് തന്നെയാകും . കുട്ടികളെ കൂടാതെ എത്രയെത്ര ആളുകളാണ് ദിവസേനെ അവിടെ നിന്നും ഭക്ഷണം കഴിക്കുന് അവരുടെ മുമ്പിലൂടെ ഒന്നാമനായി എഴുന്നേല്ക്കുക എന്നത വല്ലൃ കാരൃമല്ലേ ....... ഒരിക്കലൂം മറക്കാനാവാത്ത എത്രയെത്ര ഓര്മകള് .ഇതെഴുതൂമ്പോള് എന്റെ കണ്ണുകള് നിറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു . അനശ്വരമായ ഓര്മള് മനസ്സില് ആനന്ദ നൃത്തംചവിട്ടുന്ന പോലെ...,

ഡാൻസു ഇനിയും പഠിക്കാമല്ലോ മോളേ.ഞാൻ 50 വയസ്സിൽ അതായതു 2013.മുതൽ2019 വരെ ഭരതനാട്യം പഠിച്ചു. ഇപ്പോൾ നിർത്തിയിട്ട് ഒരു വർഷമേ ആയുള്ളു. എന്റെ മകളും ഞാനും കൂടിയാണ് ഡാൻസു പഠിച്ചത്.യൂ ട്യൂബിലിട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട് 3 ഡാൻസ്. ഗ്രൂപ്പു ഡാൻസാണ്.ഒരു കുറത്തി ഡാൻസുണ്ട്.അതിൽ ഇടതു നിന്നു നാലാമത്തെ ഞാനാണ്. വലത് ആദ്യം കാണുന്നത് മകൾ ഐശ്വര്യയാണ്.അരങ്ങേറ്റത്തിനുള്ള ചിലവ് താങ്ങാനാവാത്തതു കൊണ്ടാണ് പഠനം നിർത്തിയത്. 👍👌👌😍 എനിക്ക് ഏറ്റവും ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട video. mam ഇന്ന് എന്തു സുന്ദരിയായിരിക്കുന്നു. അമ്മക്ക് ഏതോ ഒരു പഴയ cinema actress look. മാമിന്റെ family ഫോട്ടോസും പഴയ ഹോസ്റ്റൽ സ്റ്റോറിയും എല്ലാം എന്റെയും എന്റെ ചേച്ചിയുടെയും story പോലെ തന്നെ. പാവം എന്റെ ചേച്ചിക്കായിരുന്നു അന്നൊക്കെ modern ഡ്രസ്സ് ധരിക്കാനും friends ഒപ്പം പുറത്തു പോകാനുമൊക്കെ വലിയ താല്പര്യം. ഞാൻ പിന്നെ വലിയ വാശി പിടിക്കാനൊന്നും പോകില്ല. ഉള്ളതു കൊണ്ട് ഓണം പോലെ. But മാമിന്റെ case പോലെയല്ല. ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് marriage വരെ ഈ type restrictions parents തന്നിരുന്നു.

I'm an ex-Teresian, right from LKG to the completion of my degree. I did my pre-degree there in the years 1986-87. My SSLC was completed in 1985. Film actor Lissie was my senior. Sr Emeline (she's no more, bless her soul) was the Principal of the college during my pre-degree and degree years. Later, Sr Christabelle (alas, she's no more, either...she passed away a few months ago...I think, on the 24th of Dec. Bless her soul, too) took over from her. I remember the Nehru Cup matches, too. I remember that Romania was the favourite team as far as the Teresian girls were concerned...for obvious reasons :) ;) (they were the handsomest of the lot :)) It was nice to recollect all those wonderful memories. Three cheers to Teresians all over the world!👍 Thank you, once again. 😊❤
