I’m soaking fruits for next year in brandy for plum cake.. 1st quest😊 I have maraschino cherries in syrup in a bottle.. can I add it after draining it or will some syrup in the cherries after draining spoil the fruit mix after 1 yr.. 2nd quest😊: any replacement for candied orange peel?
