Aloha Pōʻakahi iā kākou! Todayʻs MANAʻo Monday ʻōlelo noʻeau is,"I aliʻi no ke aliʻi i ke kānaka." This means,"A chief is a chief because of the people who serve him." This was a reminder to a chief to consider his people. The people who make big decisions for our lāhui (nation) should always consider the well-being of the people they govern.
