A football team must speak with one voice. Not Jerry on the radio. Stephen on the radio. Jerry doing press conferences after games. The HC must be the face of the franchise. It worked with Jimmy. It worked with Belichick in New England. It worked with Noll in Pittsburgh. It worked with Walsh in SF. It worked with Landry in Dallas. Jerry is obsessed with control and the need to be needed. Until that changes they will continue to lose.

Prescott had his best year as a QB and the team went 12-5 to win the division. Both he and McCarthy are in the final year of their contracts and Dak has a no trade, no franchise stipulation in his. This was the only move the Cowboys could make. It's pointless to bring in a new coach and start a new system in Dak's final year. What the Cowboys need is a running game and run stopping linebackers.

I hated Nate’s Cowbumbs, they kept beating my Niners, but the man speaks serious truth here. The attention to detail, especially in crucial situations, is key to winning championships. You got teammates reminding you to do certain things at certain times, and let you know when you don’t, that matters. Jerry boasts about his talent, his players believe it and think they can rely on talent to win. It’s not enough, not by a long shot, because quite frankly, the ability to run a 4.7 isn’t that different than running a 4.8, 9, even a 5.0. Jimmy Johnson used to say what matters is the ability to “make plays.” Sounds simple, but there’s no numbers that can be applied to that. Or maybe it’s just binary-you make the play or you don’t.

I know how to fix the problems Nate. It’s very simple. #1 Jerry Jones needs to step down as the GM and get out of the way and hire a new GM or promote Will Mclay. I personally would like to give Troy Aikman a chance for GM. #2 Mike McCarthy needs to go. #3 hire a coach that will bring discipline and a winning culture. In my opinion I think Jim Harbaugh or Bill Belichick or maybe even Vabrel should the top candidates.

They’re isn’t one answer because there is more then one problem. On offense basically the lack of a credible run game causes teams to cheat against the pass. The lack of a credible run defense and the lack of linebackers and linemen who can stop the run is what takes an otherwise great defensive performance sour after teams that ran the ball effectively made them look pedestrian.

The same clown that thinks he knows football when he doesn't. He USED to know business, but he's lost his fastball there, too. He keeps getting clowned by players, for Pete's sake. The only good thing of this scenario is that I am now too embarrassed to remain a Cowboys fan. He's finally left me no choice. All those clowns may be able to check their self respect, but I am not.
