My Theory: I believe this is about a person (most likely based off of LEMMiNO himself) who struggles to see the difference between this digital world and the physical world, a lot of people believe this is about the creation of the universe while I believe it's about entry into another one via computer, such as video games and video in general. The following line: "I press the button and it bursts into life." The button is referring to the power button on his computer and the thing bursting to life is the digital universe he believes is within the computer, through video games and possibilities within it you can perform. The following line: "This time, nothing will escape my sight." Most likely means he is highly dedicated to complete the objectives given to him in the video game(s). Also, notice how there is a comma in the line but in the audio of the video there seems to be no pause, I don't know if it is a mistake or if it means something, but if it does mean something and is intentional then the pause is there almost like he's pausing because he is doubtful he will complete what he wants to, either meaning, no matter how hard he tries to beat the game or goals he is unable to, or the game strategically makes it so it will pile on more goals and more, to keep customers addicted to the game for infinity. (See what I did there ^_^) The next line: "I see the stars and the planets soon follow. Expect to have the universe by tomorrow." This line is a reference to him entering the digital universe that to him has a line blurred between what we consider the "real" one. Next line: "Just sit back and relax, don't worry The world can wait, no need to hurry." The world is a reference to the physical world outside of the digital one, and how it can wait when you enter the digital one, which he seems to find superior in comparison to the physical world. Next Line: "Getting harder to stay in control. But perfection is my only goal." The second sentence only strengthens my theory on how he is far to obsessed with the goals he must complete withing said game, and the first sentence maybe a reference to his rage/frustration after attempting to have that perfection that he has the inability to achieve. Doing the same thing over and over again is the definition of insanity and this is most likely what he's doing, so it is possible when referencing to the first line: "Color coded just to keep me sane." Makes it possible he is loosing touch with sanity. Next Line: "Have to fight it cause I won't go back. I'd rather see the whole world go back to black." The first sentence I believe is still referencing how hard he is at trying complete whatever goals they are, and the second sentence possibly means how he believes that the whole world is so irrelevant to him when being endorsed in the digital one, that it is the same value of pitch blackness, believing that before he had discovered this digital world where he could live as a digital version and representation of him, the prior universe he had been living in regularly became irrelevant (The "real" one). Next Line: "But then I'm blinded by this light from nowhere. This blue planet with life and an atmosphere." Still being to involved in the digital world he believes he now lives in. Next Line: "I look closer and I can't believe. What I'm seeing down there, is me." This is a reference to the digital representation of himself that he now refers to as himself. What he is seeing down there, just means what he's seeing on his screen. Next Line: "But if it's me looking down on me. The world above must also be." First sentence: Further proves what I thought in the last line about how he believes he exists on two separate plains of reality, the physical and the digital. Second sentence: He believes there is a higher plain of universe above the two explored in the song and he is also being played out by another version of himself and it is just various plains of reality interacting with the other plain of themselves due to lack of appreciation of their own. For infinity.

I used to listen to this song when I was about 12 or so years old. I was fascinated with Lemmino's videos, back when he was merely Top10 before he was Lemmino. I'd stay up late 'til midnight, because that was when the sky would clear up most and the stars shine the brightest, then I'd stare up on my room's windowsill and just... listen to this song.

I think it's about the theory that our lives are just projections or generations that are fabricated within a computer. It's a pretty well known theory the name just escapes me at the moment. Basing the lyrics around this theory makes the most sense in my opinion. Lemm clearly knows something we don't.
