Yesss another completed MAP! I’m so proud of you guys!!

Brambleberry is so underrated.
She’s such a great character. I love everything about her. She was so caring to Crookedkit, and was furious with Rainflower’s treatment of him. She comforted him all the time, and was always concerned for him. She freaked out when he was made deputy because she knew he had been manipulated.
Then there’s Echomist, Hailstar’s mate. Oh boy. She was incredible. When Rainflower had Crookedkit sleep in his own nest, separated from hers and Oakkit’s, Echomist let him sleep with her and her kits so he wouldn’t be lonely. She was such a sweet character that never gets the love she deserves.
Finally, Shellheart. What a great dad. Broke up with Rainflower because of her awful treatment of Crookedkit, always loved him.
While this MAP mostly focuses on Brambleberry, it also focuses on Echomist and Shellheart. Those three are his parental figures. This MAP shows them guiding Crookedkit through life, even with Mapleshade looming over him.

It's so sweet how Oakheart, Shellheart, Echomist, Willowbreeze, and many other cats are friendly and caring and always looking out for Crookedpaw(jaw/star), but I think Brambleberry was the most loving, she is like the mother figure that Crookedpaw(jaw/star) never had because Rainflower neglected Crookedpaw(jaw/star). 🥺😭

Aesthetic Jerk Given these books, it’s highly unlikely given what Harpercollins allows to slip by. But that’s besides the point, a nice headcanon but she has Hailstar. (A leader pairing that we actually see in canon and has very little drama and without a giant age difference to our knowledge.)

Brambleberry is one of my favorite characters in warriors and I have always been sad that no one really paid any attention to her. I have always tried to find a good MAP that really represents her and this is just *perfect!* It’s definitely one of my favorite MAPS by far! Read that, and read Tallstar's Revenge (in French it's "La Vengeance d'Étoile Filante", not sure if it's the right name in english) if you haven't. Both books brought me to tears much easier and were a bit more entertaining to read than the main series. But that's just my opinion.

People need to stop fixating on how horrible of a mother Rainflower was and more of how amazing a foster mother Echomist and Brambleberry were to Crooked, and how remarkable of a father Shellheart was too. Thank you for bringing more attention to one of my favorite underrated characters. Everybody did so well too....I love this.
