What made you try a sadle graft? I've had poor success with garcinia grafting and trying to improve my success rate

I've also had difficulty grafting some other tropicals, so I was trying maximize cambium contact with 2+ inch long graft unions. Saddle grafts seemed to be the best option to accomplish that with the scions and rootstocks I had to work with.
