They know Suzumi's here in Mugenri, and that they're dangerous (the prologue to the game starts with Hooaka and Aoji going to the shrine for help cause Hooaka's arm got cut off). I'm not 100% sure if they know the full history between Suzumi and Tsubakura, or just know that they're dangerous and wanted to take care of them themselves. Since keep in mind, Suzumi is from the outside world along with the rest of the cast from EE (barring Tsurubami of course)

The Shrine Team And their dialogue thus far hasn’t been very interesting to me, but their dialogue with the Shitodos and a certain _other_ boss is some of the best storytelling in the game this side of the New Emperor Team.

I've noticed when reading through the other characters the other three teams seem to have more interesting/more development towards them or the rest of the world in the Haze or Brilliant route (New Emperor Team especially what with Fumi and Iyo having a personal relationship with the respective final bosses). Whereas the Shrine Team is kinda just along for the ride coincidentally running into these guys. Neutral route on the other hand the Shrine Team shines with the rest of the teams actually _literally_ being regarded at times as the intermission or a warm up before the Shrine Team arrives.

How the fuck Hooaka knew it was Suzumi,if they literally erased their memories???????? oh right apparently,you *CAN* remember stuff erased by Suzumi,but only if you have a trigger to it (the question Tsuba and Yabu asked). Edit: In worst cases like suzumi making an event unexistent by making everyone related to it forget about the event,you need to either *SEE* or *HEAR* suzumi.

With the exception of the eldest Shitodo being confirmed to be a girl, no characters have confirmed genders. That said, JynX says he wants people to come to their own conclusion regarding the characters genders. I've seen Hooaka as a guy more often than not, so that's what I see personally. Plus, I kinda like the idea of a family dynamic of two guys and two girls (personally I see Aoji as a guy and Kuroji as a girl for similar reasons)

@@MegamanOmega184 i don't think kuroji seems like a girl because salamimaru is must be boy because I think kuroji can fall in love with saragimaru and salamimaru is not boy because she's using girl hair style. And kuroji's Personality is not seems a girl. He's looks like stimgy and overbearing i don't think kuro is girl. And he's not looks A girl. His hairs are not long.

@@yabusamehoulen7636 Kuroji is a similar case for me (since a vast majority of the art I've seen of her depicts her as a girl). Also important to note, that while she is stingy and overbearing, she's not completely heartless and does care about her family _a lot_ . Also, girls are perfectly capable of having short hair. There's _plenty_ of girls in Touhou with similar, if not shorter hair (Rumia, Mystia, Cirno, Kyouko, Alice, etc) Similar case with Saragimaru, but she also has the aspect of "younger sister with issues" it kinda a series trope in Touhou, so it doesn't take much to apply that same logic when going into Len'en. That all being said, I've seen two characters being girls and being as close to each other as Kuro and Salamimaru are in Touhou, so the idea that the two of them could be girls in Len'en doesn't really bother me any.

Not fangames that's for sure, keep in mind these things are designed for people that have already played and know regular Touhou games. So they end up doing a bunch of stuff that you'd otherwise take for granted. With that in mind though, the ido series of games I'd say were the fairest one's I've played. The Last Comer, Mystical Power Plant, Riverbed Soul Saver and Book of Star Mythology were the most "Touhou-like difficulty" fangames I've played as opposed to one's that actively try to one up ZUN's difficulties.
