Yes, Resurrections is great, but need I remind you of Checking In, Reflections, Reach for the Summit, Confronting Myself, Quier and Falling, in the Mirror, Scattered and lost, etc. Of course this is completely subjective I just think there are so many bangers in the ost.

Yeah for me at least the track is completely intertwined with the chapter, emotionally and thematically. I tried playing it for people who haven't played the game and it didn't hold the same magic for them as it did for me having heard it alongside the gameplay. It's haunting and beautiful and terrifying just like Madeleine's dream/nightmare, and I'm right back there experiencing my first playthrough again every time I hit Play.

I kinda get what Lena is saying, cuz the first song I heard from Celeste was (shockingly) NOT Resurrections, it was like the B-Side for Mirror Temple, and Resurrections was like the second bc it got recommended. And I think the Mirror Temple is more of a traditional "good" catchy video game song, it's pretty distinct and memorable and remixable, etc. But after a while Resurrections started to grow on me - like they were saying it really does tell a whole story in one song. And when you just sit there and listen to it, it's really cool.
