A gorgeous rendition of a lovely song! Lena woild have been incredible as grew older. Here she is a teenager with such an incredibly mature voice! Such a waste of a beautiful talented young girl. Who most surely would have been a great leading lady of the London stage and Broadway if she had been well enough to carry on. So very sad! The tragedy of the Lena Zavaroni story is the healthy, vivacious little girl that left her family at 9 years of age is not the same person that was returned to them. Like many child stars the show business industry stole their child’s youth and left Lena a damaged broken woman with depression and an eating disorder, depression and mental health issues that ultimately took her life be it through a broken body with one or not, it was still the result of the lack of adequate care she received throughout her years in the care of both her Management and the Industry..
