I like the point you made about not letting shame when you fall off keep you from coming back. One thing I like to say to myself to help control shame over things I think I’ve “failed” at is: “it’s not over until I’m dead.” A failure isn’t really a failure- it’s just a moment in a longer journey. Even if you’ve “given up,” it’s still not over until you’re gone, because you are always free to change your mind.

1. Your new life will cost you your old one. New Era, confident, fit, healthy. Out of that negative cycle loop, being done. Identifying yourself with positive mentalities. Leave your old self and identity by identifying with a mission statement and saying it in the 'now.' Who do you choose to identify with? Rely on your mission, not your mood. Motivation/mood has ups and downs, so just stick with the plan. Recite it and stay locked in. 2. Daily movement is your happy pill. A free way to get feel good hormones. Stop looking at exercise as a chore. It makes you feel better! Change your mindset on topics like this. 3. Follow the 80-20 diet. Focus on nutrient dense foods and 20 percent other?... balance is key. Don't overthink it, and don't strangle yourself. Let yourself have treats or something extra here or there, but try and eat healthy for your majority. Look for healthier ingredient alternatives for recipes. Listen to your body, your hunger queues. 4. Practice cycle syncing. Helpful for women and our wild hormones. Be kind to yourself and learn how it works so that you can work with it. 5. Falling off just means you're getting up stronger. Just cause you fail doesn't mean it's the end of the road. 6. Join fitness classes. Group workout classes push you to work out harder. It's also fun to have an environment where people are doing the same thing as you. 7. Get your hot girl walks in. 5-10k steps a day. 8. Mix low impact and high impact workouts. Pilates and weightlifting. 9. Romanticizing working out. Putting on a cute gym fit, selfie, sunset run, favorite playlists. 10. Focus on how you feel, not the scale. Hide the scale and put her away into hibernation. Don't check her every day. Women's bodies fluctuate all the time due to our hormones. Progress is not the weight on the scale. Do you feel better? Is it feeling better? 11. Replace sugary drinks. They're so, so bad for you. High in empty calories that provide no nutritional value and weight gain. We don't need them at every meal. Replace with tea, water, or low calory diet substitutes. 12. Having a high protein savory breakfast. Prevents the crash and glucose spike midday. 13. Experiment with workouts to find out what you like. Do workouts you genuinely enjoy, don't necessarily follow what everyone else is doing. There are so many options. 14. Get an accountability partner. Or invest in a trainer. Get a friend who can be growing with you. 15. Join the day by day club - free wellness club. 16. The confidence you get will not be from your body. The journey you get from working out, the growth is where a lot of the confidence comes from. Enjoy the process and the journey. If it was easy, then everyone would have it. It changed your life. 17. Have a positive community around you. Be a student and learn from others, curate your media so it inspires you, etc. 18. Unfollow toxic content and what doesn't align with you. 19. You are your own competition. You can only compare yourself to yesterday you. Everyone has different start and finish lines. 20. It's a journey, not a race. Focus on the process, and enjoy the experience. Realize growth and success is going to take time and stem from all your little wins from along the way. 21. Remember to celebrate your wins. Treat yourself. Give yourself an incentive. Love yourself♡.

14:45 The confidence you get won't be from your body YESS !! I agree with this so much, as someone who have progressively getting better at being consistent with workouts, the majority of my confidence came from the days when i showed up even when i feel like shit, when i push myself and beat my own self doubt. The body that i got become like a reward or a plus for me. I don't focus on the result rather enjoying the process is more important if you want to be consistent !

You don't need a book to lose weight. Eat less calories and you will lose weight, that's all you need. Working out will not help you lose weight much at all. Even if you walk miles a day, you will only burn about 200 calories. Figure out how many calories you burn, then eat 500 less. Problem solved! It's not rocket science!

I hurt my ankle and I paused my gym membership for 2 months. I'll be back for October. I wanted to go back before the holidays. It's hard to feel motivated to go to the gym. I work nights and I planned on going after work but I always make the excuse that I'm too tired and can't go. I just go on the treadmill. I was too intimidated to do weights, and I've never tried group classes. I didn't change my diet much, just tried to eat healthier. I want to start over and be consistent again. I seem to have a skewed image of my body. Like I don't I look too bad in the mirror but I see myself in pictures and I don't like how I look. I love the community you built. Just a little something for you girlies out there... "Try and limit the amount of processed sugar you feed your body. Sugar can literally cause so many health concerns. The first few days without sugar you'll feel like crap, but trust me, your brain and body will thank you for it." This has changed the game for me, I still have sugar but now it's in moderation and I've become obsessed with reading food labels. This is also good for reducing PCOS symptoms, diabetes, dementia, and Alzheimer's
