Length of a Vector in 2 Dimensions (examples)

To find the length of a vector we simply use the Pythagorean Theorem. The components of a vector form the base and height of a right triangle. The length of the vector is simply they hypotenuse of that triangle.

What i learned here was When we you refer to length of the vector, notations of double bar is used. Pythagoras theorem can be used to find length of vector.

The part when you were finding the square root of 3 and 1, and you said it was 10. Many people wouldn't understand how you got the figure 10. Because the component is negative. (top left quadrant means a negative x value, positive y value) The length will always result in a positive number though
