Although I do not think she realizes it, but Ms. Kirsten is a Hero. I hope she writes a book about her adventure. Ms. Kirsten is a special lady. She is a lady that all girls should aspire to be. Ms. Neuschafer please. If you read this, please take the time to do presentations to young school children. You are the type that can inspire these children to chase their dreams. I wish I could give this more likes every time I watch this and listen to Lennie Gallant, and lovely partner, Patricia's, enchantingly memorable song , Minnehaha, dedicated to incredibly brave, skilled, determined, South African sailor Kirsten Neuschäfer, who is already going down in the history books for being the first woman to win this significant, around the world race, as a solo participant. She even took time out of the race to save someone else's life. The song, the singers and musicians, and the person, and events it's about, truly is a meaningful, uplifting, and very catchy song! Love it! It's pretty much guaranteed, that we'll be seeing and hearing from everyone involved, sometime soon. I love everything about this! ♥

Thanks Veronica. It has been an exciting voyage. Even her time on PEI had a few dramatic moments with someone at customs at one point threatening to deport her due to odd rules. Luckily common sense prevailed. Quite a story

I'm from Ireland and many years ago my husband gave a talk at a mussel conference there, he had a great time and loved the people he met. He was given a lovely book called Spirit of Place which I read and just loved. He promised we would go there some day but we are too old now. I do take the book out every so often and in spirit walk around that lovely place.
