No one talks about the fact that the drummer supports the whole song with so much energy and dynamics at the same time! that is our curse!!!

Lennon's back up vocals and the keyboardist really add a lot to this song even if Les simplified the bass line a bit. You definitely feel the rythymic percussions absence though.

Everything Les touches turns to Gold.

sounds pretty much like the album's bassline imo, cept around the 2:51 area for a bit, but that's more into the psychedelic stuff les has been doing for a while.

@@huntmastergutentag557 I'd say it's also the tone of the bass. I miss the Carl Thompson days with the rigs he had then

The communication between musician is so good. Everything his fatty fingers lay onto just blows me away. Seeing him twice in NOLA next week and I can’t wait.

He seems to always have an effect on it... I'm curious what he sounds like without it.

His choice of harmony is out of place for this track and way too loud in the mix 😕 The original Frog Brigade version was such a powerful current of energy, especially for the solos. But this performance kept dropping the ball on that momentum from everybody except the drummer. It felt wrong
