They are all so beautiful and fantastic singing voices, but my heart belongs to Peggy, I just melt when I see those sparkling eyes and that warm welcoming smile, a real classic beauty then and now.

314194 You got me wondering which one is Peggy ?
@leelarson65347 жыл бұрын
Kathy was the only one with a real voice. Janet's was flat, Peggy's was too high-pitched, and Diane's was too bland.

In the 50 yrs since that show was taped, she hasn't changed one bit..she's still beautiful inside and out.

I think Kathy certainly was a great lead singer. I would say they all did ok singing together.

There is something amazing about sibling vocal harmonies that cannot be duplicated. The BeeGees are another example.

Fantastic song by a great underrated group. I love how square they are. It gives them a bit of camp. They make the Carpenters look edgy lol.

I was a fool to step aside I let you run to someone new But I won’t be a fool anymore I’m coming back to you Can’t bear to think you’re kissing her It tortures me the whole night through But I won’t take that torture anymore I’m coming back to you I’m coming back to you He’s got no rush to hold you tight His days with you are over Beginning tonight Your lips belong to me alone No one could love you like I do And I can’t live without you anymore I’m coming back to you I’m coming back to you Your lips belong to me alone No one could love you like I do And I can’t live without you anymore I’m coming back to you I’m coming back to you

They look even better in color broadcasting. a little cheesy with the same movements, but that was the times in the 60's and such. They are great!!!!

Someone mentioned lip-syncing. *These numbers were done before a live studio audience; how did they get around that?
@chrisbanner1837 жыл бұрын
The audience were forced to accept it via flashing studio signs that told them to clap uncritically. The Mouseketeers did the same thing on '' The Mickey Mouse Club '' but nobody seemed to notice.
@leylander10 жыл бұрын
The girls stated in their documentary that they pre-recorded pretty much all of their 'live' performances due to the differences in their height. so that answers your questions. they lip-synched in almost all of their performances.

What happened to women today? I love Retro for this appeal strongly. Today's females or media-molded ones rather have lost virtue and it's irreparable on counts individually.

Osten Ceawlins Gosh you are so correct ! Nothing but filth today, sooo sad 😔

Women have been suckered into accepting masculine clothes and attitudes as being the right thing to be. Look and see at the bitches of today! Even Janet and co wear trousers and other male gear on their immodest bodies. Ever since the thirties chicks have been conditioned to thinking that cross-dressing is O.K but of course it is NOT!

I hope having "an eye... like a dead fish" is a good thing--or at least better than it sounds!! Never heard that one before. Is that a Mid-Western expression?
@mkeogh764 жыл бұрын
When one or more of these married women were pregnant, the show would do ridiculous stuff to cover it up such as them wearing form hiding costumes and sitting or standing behind something to hide their stomachs. Here it's really blatant.
@vincedelgavio2447Ай бұрын
Who's pregnancy are they trying to hide in this one?
@beckylewis3482 Жыл бұрын
Probably Peggy and Janet were pregnant at that time.
