Lennox Castle was also a maternity hospital. I was born there in 1958, ten years after Scottish singer Lulu. How many folks can say they were born in a castle!

I thought it was bought by an Irish consortium. No idea if that's true, no idea if it has anything to do with celtic football club, only say that as the training ground is there.

@@danbreen6946 lennox castle was a hospital with grounds that site celtics training centre is built on, celtic must have purchased the land, and I do remember reading about an Irish firm owning the castle or to put it another way the land the castle is situated on. What I don't know is there any link to the football club and the Irish firm.

No dont know who owns it now the castle holds very rich history most importantly I hope this kind of history do not repeats and we all can learn from the mistakes and short commings
