Whilst the subject matter of this is harrowing the value that is given to the voice of the learning disabled community in this video is empowering and many thanks to those who made it possible. May we learn to value these voices and these stories in our wider society, however uncomfortable they make us feel, that we never let what happened at Lennox Castle repeat itself. Open minds, open eyes, open ears, open hearts, open dialogue x

I applaud the makers of this film and particularly those brave enough to revisit the times there that they’d rather forget. I think the truth of what happened at places like this has yet to surface and when it does, I hope that some closure is provided to the victims of there. Not patients. They were victims failed by a system that put care on the back burner.

I think people don't realise how large the Hospital was just looking at the castle ruins. You can see it on the map they showed all the old villas (wards) throughout the grounds.

Why lie about Lennox castle..I was placed in there because I had a mental health issue.. there were rules to follow.. everyone got the same Jag that reduced me to a zombie I couldn't even recognise my parents for 2 weeks.. there were sections for male and female..we weren't cattle..we were patients.. it was a hospital not a prison..I don't get nightmares..I grew up and moved forward..I don't dwell on the past..I look to the future
