No Botha was NOT okay to continue.................That Right Hand Jab was HARD and Lennox delivered TWO of them and Botha was shaken BADLY. At that point Lennox knew his Right Hand is doing a DAMAGING work. If the Fight had continued, Botha would be KNOCKED out unconscious. The Referee knew that.

Sorry you´re both wrong. 1. Botha did get up within 10 seconds of the KO. 2. The ref asked him then "come forward" and Botha did. Perfectly within the rules. Yes, Botha was almost dead, but you DONT stop the fighter after the FIRST KO when he gets up. Second KO? Yes, I´d stop it there, depends. But we all know Botha, and how boxers can recover even after a demolition direct. This was too early, especially when Fran Botha is known for his resilience. He would most likely manhandle Lewis for the rest of the round, get a bit of water at the break then try to survive for next rounds waiting for possible opening. He was nowhere near as dead as Shannon Briggs after 3 knockdowns from Lenoxx.

The ref stopped it because of the severity of the knock down and the hopeless, vacant expression written all over him. It was obvious he had no fight left in him. Thank goodness you wouldn't be allowed near a boxing ring.
