The Batman is such an amazing movie and easily the best Batman movie that understands the character of Bruce Wayne and the purpose of being Batman. I love the cinematography is used to feel like a comic book and the score is amazing! Such a great video on one of the best comic book adaptations!

I don't do worst movies of the year lists anymore since I actively try to avoid movies that I can tell are going to be wastes of my time. But yes, I will make sure to do a best movies of 2024 list! I make a point to do that for both new releases and first-time watches of older movies.

Just like The Joker, The Batman is NOT a good movie. Fell asleep multple times trying to watch the movie before finally succeeding after breaking it down into three days because it was that dull of a movie. The best element of the movie was the Penguin, not Batman trying to figure out the next riddle from the madman with the twitter followers or Catwoman and her troubled with the mob. The actors for the roles were dull, lifeless and had no chemistry but as for the overall look of the film, that part was great. The rest of it not so much but to each their own.

I think the last thing I would call this movie is dull and lifeless. I’ve been enthralled by it all four times I’ve watched it, with me actually gaining greater appreciation for it each time. But hey, like you said, to each their own. I fully accept that the tone and pacing don’t quite work for some people. One of my closest friends dislikes this movie and we amicably accept each other’s takes on it.

I came here for a video about The Batman..... not your own political diatribe...... that's cheap click bate, and you know it...... go make a video about politics then, about you and your wife's personal views...... this was cheap, and wont watch another of your videos...... if you can't be straight about what kinda of video you're making..... that's on you..... should be called The Batman and my views on the current election..... then I could've made a better choice if I want to watch it...... cheap mate, a cheap trick!, and I'm not a Trump or anyone else supporter, Im up for listening to someone as long as I'm not being tricked into watching something under false pretenses because of you and your wife's politics...... don't want to mean, but also don't appreciate the underhandedness that came across

The video essay was about humanism through metaphor in storytelling. Hardly something to feel tricked over.
