This is hands down the best intro of the entire GT series. After GT3, their intros and soundtracks in general have gotten worse. GT4 was the last game in the series with a decent soundtrack. The games are still awesome, but they really slacked off music-wise...

I remember setting up my new entertainment system, this being the first game in my new Playstation, and being blown away by the opening sequence, just incredible. The chain of remarkable pants altering events was helped along by a giant state of the art, 42-46 inch Toshiba that weighed as much as 1974 MIni Cooper. Also...I lost my balls when I tried to move it from the old cabinet to the newer one. No window lickers as a result-good times.

+MrLTDAus That's most likely the case as the game did have different intro music depending on region with Europe (and I'm guessing Austrailia) getting "Sweet 16" as their intro song while Japan had the same "Moon Over The Castle" Opening as the first two games.
