Prince hated people covering stuff exactly as it is. He always respected people doing their own stuff, and that's what Lenny did. He made his own version out of these songs, and that's how it should be, I guess. I personally love Lenny's version and appreciate the whole show he did.

Lenny popped up at other Prince concerts when they were in the same cities. Prince always invited him up to Jam with him. I think he would have enjoyed this.💜🕊

We owe them such a debt.i can’t recall who it is, one of the great blues musicians, his daughter has some sort of foundation set up to look for copyright infringement on those blues artists and seeks to get them paid their royalties (or rather, their heirs, since they’re all gone now).
