You should change the battery of your fire alarm. I have a case where employee has one of these and it has a dead screen. No sign of life at all in the display. It’s of course out of warranty so I’ve checked if there was an loose cable to the motherboard. There was not. Then discovered there is no output on HDMI either. Is it possible to flash the bios/firmware on these from an USB? Like a recovery kind of thing?

I have a Lenovo 430s stuck in PXE: & another one below,it won’t work on my Windows 10 in anyway. It’s like a big brick as it was all ok until it went in to BIOS only,tried a USB Creation tool to boot up and no way it’s going to even work,thanks GREAT VIDEO 10/10 also have Lenovo workstation thAts slower after some MINITES too not a brand I will go near ever again as there just DELL messed up laptops or computers???

is there a way to boot an update for the idea pads bios i had turned it to kali to find out bios was out of date, but when i try re downloading windows to just download the updates easy when i boot into windows the wifi is missing and it doesnt have an ethernet port but when i run on kali everything runs perfectly fine minus the apci errors on launch. if you have any info would love to hear it, and or links to an iso or to a video on how to load the bios update onto the usb? great video none the less just mis read the title by accident!

Same here, so it's stuck in EFI mode and I can't boot from USB. Any Idea (pun intended!)? That's the first time that I can't resolve this kind of issue, come on Lenovo!

Where do i find the ErP and Always ON USB on bios settings? The USB-C slot of My Lenovo ideapad still has power even though i shut it down. My devices connected to the USB-C slot (using 9in1 Hub) still has lights on after shutting down the laptop..

Check the BIOS setting for the USB correctly, also make sure your bootable USB has made in correct way, for example UEFI or Legacy. Also, do not forget to try in different USB port.

Is there any way to move between the text only "bios" that Lenovo uses on some of their computers and the GUI version they use on others? I have an ideapad s540. When I got into bios, it only gives me the GUI option. I'm trying to enable "Legacy" boot, but I can't get to any settings that will allow that.

You need to download the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool and make an installation drive using your own USB thumb drive. You'll need a valid license though, be it digital or not.

Hi there, having trouble with my IDeaPad 3, why can't i access the CONFIGURATION tab in BIOS Setup, the system reboots everyrime I try to go on that CONFIG Tab. The ERROR shows on topleft on the screen with the logo LENOVO "BlInitializeLibrary failed 0xc0000185" and nothing happens.
