My fan is making a lot of noise. Is it possible to fix this, or do I have to replace it? What product is the paste and the cleaner you use before the paste? Do you know the part no. for the replacement fan? Thanks.

Hello. I made my same laptops disassembly and cleaning after this video, and i had to change the USB/card reader/audio board too, i made it too. My problem is, when I assembled, and I tried to turn on, it did not turn on, only for a bit, the fan started to rotate, and shut down. I tried to hold the power on button for one min after I removed the battery and only with the AC adapter tried to turn on, again. It made the same thing, but as a "blinking" power on button, and the fan rotated again alternately: when the power on button lighted, the fan rotated, when the power on button was dark, it stopped and so on, repeated, continously. what should be the problem, do you have any clu?? thanks

Hello there; I have this model, I turned off the laptop screen in the evening and left the pc in standby mode, when I wanted to turn on the pc after about 3-4 hours, the power button did not react at all, when I plug the pc into the charger, the charge light turns on but the pc does not turn on. (Note: Computer comfortable 7-8 years and it has never been changed, the videos I watched said that the battery may be dead, the battery can be removed and the pc can be turned on with a direct charge cable) What would you recommend? Where do you think the problem is?

Loreal A. Repair and disassemble on Dells are significantly easier. Also, availability of parts for their business line (Latitude and XPS) are easy to come by and inexpensive relatively speaking.
