It is recommended if you want a laptop with good performance, display as well as thermals. If you just want performance, you should get a 4050/4060 laptop, you should be able to get a Lenovo loq at a lower price, 2024 loq a 100% sRGB display, so make sure to get the 2024 one if you care about having a better display. But this legion 5 pro gives a 1440p 100% sRGB 500 nits display, that alone can make your experience much better. And of course, the thermals are the best you can get, only omen has thermals nearly as good as legion.

@@mohammadwaziro3461 Yes, the only thing that really helped me was a thermal paste with low viscosity. In my case was Phobya nanogrease extreme. Max temps with this thermal paste were more in the 80s instead of 90+. You need low viscosity thermal paste becaus of the low presure mounting system.

@@priyansh8274 it will only have black bars top and bottom if you use resolution less than 2560x1600, you can use 1080p without black bars aswell but you need to use 1920x1200 not 1920x1080. anything else other than 1920x1200 or 2560x1600 will have black bars.
