Hey Consumer Tech Warehouse I appreciate your review. I am really stuck between this laptop and spec versus a Zephyrus G16 4080 (2024) I'm torn between the power difference and the portability difference as I work from couch/bed but also enjoy FPS gaming where fps matters

Unfortunately you have to choose one. Portability and battery life vs. FPS. What I did personally was get the p16, which is the Creator version of the g16 and got a ps 5 pro and I'm pretty happy with that decision. And you can still game with the g16 as well.

@@consumertechwarehouse Thanks, in the end I got the best of both worlds rather than jack of all trades with a Legion 7 Pro 4090 (lots of coupons and offers on Lenovo as you said!) for 2500. And got a MacBook Air M3 too for 850 which gives 18 hours battery so far.

@@consumertechwarehouse Thanks! I went with the Legion Pro 4090 (lots of coupons and offers on Lenovo site) for maximum gaming performance on the go, and got a new MacBook Air m3 15" for office work/battery life. Total spend was 3100 after cash back.

Lenovo released the 9i legion bios update: BIOS Update for Windows 11 (64-bit) - Legion 9 16IRX8 and BIOS Update for Windows 11 (64-bit) - Legion 9 16IRX9 I m. Interested but torn between the pro 7i n 9i. Can u let us know if the bios update fix the 9i issue?

Are you still using the blade 18 as your primary laptop? If soo may I have your spec I bought the 4090 one with the 240hz it was on sale for open box and wanted to know if you had the same if not what upgrade you made on it to run better

No I needed something smaller and lighter with better battery to edit on the GL so i switched to the pro art P16. I had the 4k 200hz razer at the time. And before that I had the and 300 hz.

@ appreciate the feedback yeah I end up getting the blade just cause it looks nice also my pc got fried by the electricians playing with the power outside our house soo need something powerful that can be a replacement for the time being would you say that would be the right move?

@consumertechwarehouse It will freeze for a few seconds every 3 or 4 minutes for the entire movie. It's very annoying and has happened on two different machines. Tried all kinds of fixes, nothing worked.

It's best to wait because the 5000 series Nvidia CPUs are coming. This is the end of the current 2 year GPU cycle.

Depends on how you look at it. I'd rather get a great deal than have the latest and greatest. A 4080 will be good for many years to come

how come? They improved it this year but i am also on the fence after using the G16' Zephyrus OLED which is spectacular But having a full fat 4090 and cpu for gaming + good thermals is very appealing

In my opinion this. While the display is a lot better on the 9 it has a lot of flicker and caused me fatigue. Also the keyboard and track pad being pushed forward made it uncomfortable for me.

sadly there no point of an powerful laptop anymore as Apple own Laptop still so good to Apple and Laptop with usb-c changing shows me if they work on the lower but stable laptop is able to just use USB-C change it than the laptop being unsupported sadly if is not Linux or MacOS sadly is not safe to use if you match it to how they lay it out
