Im curious what your battery health is. Try running the powercfg command for battery reporting, it will generate a report that tells you the batterys current capacity versus its max capacity.

You will see slightly higher FPS at 7500Mhz memory speed at high TDP settings as the additional TDP budget allows more power for the APU. Running the the RAM at 6400 at low TDP settings means that the RAM is drawing slightly less power, leaving more for the APU. If I remember the video I saw correctly, the crossover point is around 18-20W.

Battery life depends on the TDP limit, the lower the TDP, the longer the battery life. In this video, I set the TDP to 15W. If you’re just watching KZbin or working in Excel, you can lower it to 10W for even longer battery life.

Is it better to set VRAM to Auto or 6GB? I mainly play with the legion go connected to the power supply, but I never exceed 20w and I wanted to know more about the settings to have more stability/performance... I set SMT on from the bios with 6400mt, 4co and 8th and STT Let me know, thanks.

If you play at 20W, you should set all the TDP settings to 20, 20, 20, as this makes the CPU cores run more stable compared to setting them to performance. Set VRAM to auto so your game can utilize more RAM than setting it to 6GB. Also, if you are always playing while plugged in, I highly recommend playing at 25W (25, 25, 25) and using 6 cores or 8 cores with 7500MT/s.

Even if you cap the FPS, the CPU and GPU still draw 15W if you set the TDP at 15W. So, if you cap the FPS, you also need to lower the TDP to 12 or 13W to gain more battery life.

@@treasty I'm able to play some switch games at 10 to 8 watts using the sliders stock drivers and I'm getting about 4 1/2 to 5 hours of battery life playing brilliant diamond or if not brilliant diamond Mario Kart 8 plays the same at that wattage I'm using not the Vulcan or opengl setting but the third one in Yuzu and I'm capping it at 120 frames Menus go quick but the games played normally Without a doubt I have not run into an issue running my Legion go on either 780M drivers or stock drivers I don't know what you're on about but test it yourself because that sounds dumb

I can play division 2 on bazzite at 8w (quiet) with unlocked fps, although it would not hit 144fps but that gives me almost 3hrs easily from 80% battery limit.
