I have a question. If i have a smartphone foldable that has a snapdragon gen 3 already, what would be the benefits of me getting this device? Would it be bc i want to game on a separate device from my phone? Are there no other reasons to get this for me? One thing i dont like is my phone heats up during intense games. Would it be the same for this lenova essentially ?

Well yes, the only difference is the price, the foldable smartphone costs much more than this tablet.

Tablets have a bigger surface to help disperse the heat. Regarding your phone having heating issues, I recommend you get a phone cooler. I myself have an Infinix Note 30 VIP. It's quite powerful for it's price and features but the downside is that since it's overclocked, it heats up quite a bit to the point where it's scary hot if you play it during a prolonged period. Getting a phone cooler helps quite a lot in fixing the heating problem.

I strongly believe internal mSD slots on all flagship Smartphone and Tablets will be gone for good,starting from this year. This will be a trend for sometime,before there's a new type high speed removable storage card to be introduced.Expect to wait 5 years maybe in 2030.😅😅😅😅😅

@@UlmerWashington2 This is the insight,into the manufacturer's intention. Not only Lenovo has abandon it,but recent examples such as Oneplus and Redmagic Tablets. The main reason why they abandon it primarily,because of slow transfer speed which is the bottleneck of the whole tablet experience. That's why i said one fine day,if there is a new type of ultra high speed rremovable storage card being introduced,then you will see all the manufacturers starting to implement a new slot for it. I expect it to happen within 5 years time of developments.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

if they release a new version next year, i hope they add the microsd slot back in. i'm currently using the 2023 version and it's fine as is, but I do wish I had that snapdragon upgrade that the 2024 version provides.

simply looking to buy a tablet only for pokemon tcg pocket. That's.... it. lol. I don't think the game can even go beyond 60hz anyways, but do want the best possible performance out of the game to ensure a smooth game experience. which would you recommend? Thanks

The 2023 has two Type C ports. It was said not to at first and no the 2023 model is 100 percent in fact less expensive. I know because bought the 2033 because it was less money.

Considering I got an ad request from lenovo and looking for content that my help my article and randomly see your post. I am trying to give a review here as I myself is a heavy game player on CODM. It looks like many considering grab one of this model. I have iPad mini5/6,Y700II, and plus 2 iPad Pro and will grab one Y700III soon. Firstly, I will say Y700III should be the BEST choice for all serious gamers. Not because it sports 8Gen3, because it will come with a new panel from CSOT, it will vastly upgrade your touching experince as it improves on sampling frequency, and reduce 60% glare just like iPad nano-texture. And even we go FL(Fully loaded) It is a very very cheap thing, (3899RMB include 13% Chinese VAT), I am sure it will be around 650-750USD. It will worthy your money. Do not buy the one not with new panel (Like 2 jackson cheaper). As for the old model, it only gets 60% performance, will run at 120FPS X Standard quality CODM. So it is fine to use but just not professional. Forget about iPad mini6/7, Y700III or even Y700II will smash it for good. I assure you this. for mobile game. Y700III>iPad Pro M4 11>Y700II>iPad mini7, M2 model will reduce brigthtness, so it is also a no-go. I may list mine on eBay soon or later, and if you were near Cleveland, you may even try it on. lol.(Save some shipping and maybe taxes and time). Last but not least, Lenovo allows root, you can try lineage OS/OPPO ColorOS/ Pixel OS for good. Enjoy, everyone.

Actually 8Gen3 is way faster, I may grab one from China soon as they will massively available 10/24/2024 EST. I am using Y700II, so I know the difference.haha, I may need to post it on eBay as it seems it will be China-only. I got it last year.
