Bought a lenovo loq i5 12450hx rtx 3050 6gb two weeks ago. The first game i played was cyberpunk and the cpu qnd gpu temperatures were horrible. Cpu and gpu never went below 90°C even with max fan speed and undervolting. I took the risk of opening the laptop (breaking the warranty seal) to replace the stock thermal paste( pretty much non existent) with thermal grizzly conductnaut and results are excellent. Temperature never go above 78°C . The is no other problems like battery drain or motherboard dying as many other customers have faced.

Bios update ke baad maine battery drain dekha hai when plugged in. 1 hr RDR2 in max settings khelne par 20 percent battery drop hua charging pe jab tha. Jab maine lenovo se contact kiya toh woh log 230Watt adapter 170 Watt se replace karne mana kar diye aaur kehne lage usse motherboard issue hoga isliye nahi denge. Aaur unhone yeh bhi kaha ki high end task karne par itna battery drop hona normal hai. KZbinrs are there to earn money by promoting the brands and getting views but we people are actually facing the reality. P.S : i have premium care support by lenovo of 1year.

I was also facing battery drain issue in my loq after i called customer support they said there's an solution for battery drain without replacing charger go to bios settings ->more settings->configuration->then scroll down using down arrow key there will be an option battery level protection which will be off by default just turn it on or on Auto mode (after turning it on iam not facing any battery drain thers not even drop in performance)

The lenovo loq is absolutely good but there are a few issues going around, but I purchased i5 13th gen rtx 3050 series, its almost been a month and I do all stuff like video editing, graphic designing, moderate gaming, and streaming. I have no problems with this but yes, it has only been nearly one month so I might not have experienced any issues due to this but for 75k, you could go for the Acer nitro V with i5 13th gen and rtx 4050 if you dont require the 100% sRGB, regardless about that everything else is same. And also this Acer Nitro V is only for 75k in this festive season so its best to get it before its over

Usually when I'm doing normal work I get up to 2-3 hours battery backup but while gaming I only get half an hour backup, but anyways while gaming, if we want to get best performance, we should always play while plugged in so anyways it doesn't matter that much

@@PrajwalBanarase I understand but there's one another thing which I didn't mentioned Legion 5 is in under warranty until March 2025 because it was purchased with extended warranty and I can extend it for 1 more year by paying around 6k and G15 is not in warranty because it was not purchased with extended warranty it's warranty expired in July 2024. So, I can't buy warranty for it because we have to do it within warranty period 🥲. By the way I think both laptop have solid build quality and they have nice components so, I think there are very less chances that will something happens with them like motherboard and screen or any other issues. Mai ne 30th sept ko Lenovo liq by kiya i5 13th gen rtx 3050 , usme battery drain ka issue aa raha hai jab bhi game khel raha hu battery 100 ho ya koe bhi percentage par ho vahu se drain hona start ho rahi haj plugged in hote hoe . Customer care se baat ki to vo log bas ek hi sentence repeat kar rahe hai , sir ye as per design hai isko aise hi banaya gaya hai . Ek agent ne remote access lekar sab kuch update kiya hai. Bahut se setting bhi ki hai . Battery aur hardware report bhi li hai . Abhi kya karo kuch samjh nahi aa raha hai . Aaj hi ki baat hai mere battery near about 30 percentage thi mai charger plug kiya aur fame kheln start kiya 1.5 hiur ke baad battery 10% par aa gai aur screen par plug the charger ka massage shoe hone laga . Par tab charger already plugged tha .

​​@@SohamXTI've got the same model. Till now I've tested Assassin's Creed Origins, Far Cry 6 and CS2. AC Origins runs pretty good, FC 6 runs at 60-70 FPS on 'high' settings and CS2 can go all the way upto 150 FPS or even higher on max settings. My primary task is attending online lectures and studies for now, so I've not tested many games but I can say it can run pretty much every AAA title properly in between high to ultra settings. For work purpose, it will cause no problem. It also comes with a lifetime MS Office 2021 (Student) subscription. I don't think you will face any kind of problem with this laptop. 2 or 3 percent of battery charge might go down while playing games at high performance with the charger plugged in but that doesn't cause any issues.

When cpu+GPU combined draws more power than which 170w psu can provide the stress goes to battery n the remaining power is drained from battery itself. So the psu(power supply unit) 170w is not enough. So they have to provide the charger. Tell them u are unhappy with the resolution it is non satisfactory. N they gotto provide the 230w. It is their fault shipping wrong accessories of 170w which is not even enough for the power required by the laptop.

Hello sir, I have brought lenvo ioq arc version, I'm facing many issues, but the most important issue which is bothering me is my nvme speed is too low, I'm getting approx 800mb per second , idk why , i changed many settings even I used many other apps but all are giving same result. Bhaiya abhi mai parso lenovo showroom gya tha laptops dekhne, i coincidentally met the manager and had a good talk with him, he confirmed the motherboard and mass battery drain issue, he said that it's fix now and jo old manufacturing date ke jo varient hai unme ye issues hai because of according to him *cheap quality sockets in motherboard* he also said that it's fixed in product with newer manufacturing dates (jo newly produced varients hai) and it's safe to buy now.

@@technerdtarun haan so maybe unke products old manufacturing date ke honge otherwise according to him "agar abhi issues aa rha hai toh 100 me se 1-2 units me aa rha hai" also 2 of my friends also got the loq in the sale, one got it with 2050 for studies purpose, other one got the 4050 varient for highend gaming, i talked to both of them and they're both are pretty happy with it, they have no issues like mobo, flicker or even battery drain, the gamer friend also sent me some videos playing games in max settings in his loq and it's giving crazy good performance and thermals. So i think it's true that only old batches had the issues.

Or jo 5k paisa bachega uska ram 16 gb or upgrade kar lena to 24gb ram bhi ho jayega to or bhi smooth gaming hogi, or badhiya wala cooling pad le lena. Fir sab mast hai.

Yes, you can go with loq. There is only a battery draining issue while gaming in some variants but that issue will resolve after charger replacement.
