Answering the clickbait title: Not really. I have a Lenovo tablet and Lenovo is complete garbage when it comes to software updates. For my tablet they promised(!) 2 updates, one of which was to bring this brand new tablet to the current Android version. After the second update, they stopped even the security updates. So, bottom line, don't buy a Lenovo tablet if you value security or SW updates!

I am a Lenovo hater. With Lenovo you will be lucky if you getting 1 major OS update, while with Samsung you will get 4 to 5 years of updates. Lenovo customer support is terrible. And Chinese product you cannot compare with South Korean one. It is like compare Russian car Lada to Japanese Toyota...
