I'd like 2 things: On the next model, maybe some stylus to draw with. Instead of offering 4 models of the ultrabook, offer a customization thing like with the ThinkPad Yoga. I'd like a clementine model without having to pay $1700.

I'm trying to decide between a Yoga 2 Pro and an X240. The major differences I see are: the Yoga 2 Pro screen is bigger, a bit heavier, and doesn't have a TrackPoint. The prices are quite similar when I configure them with what I want. I love the TrackPoint, so I'm leaning towards the X240. Do you see any other significant differences? Thanks.

The other big one would be the "modes" enabled by the Yoga hinge. I've got a ThinkPad Yoga, and I've been really surprised how much I'm using the "stand" and "tent" modes. The X240 is also a commercial-grade build - Yoga 2 Pro is tough, but the ThinkPad line is built for ultimate durability.

I might sound pretty dumb, but I am curious as to why there is not a disk drive on this laptop? I am really looking into getting one. I believe I will really enjoy this device just curious as to why there is not a disk drive. Would I have to buy one separately

Mainly thickness. At 15.5mm at the thickest point, there isn't much room for a hard drive.

You can now download almost any software and use the enclosed license key to activate it. I haven't used a CD/DVD drive on a PC in a long time

Just got mine it pretty sleek, having some trouble opening it when in tablet mode, it not easy to flip the screen , another issue I have is my battery seems to be depleting very fast, I have the screen bright because I like it that was , but it goes dead in under 4 hours , a few min ago it freezes up everything were moving in slow motion , and some software is not optimize to work on this device, very tiny. the first two of these devices I got I had to return because the wireless card will not pick up a wireless SSID and hold it for more than 10 min , keep dropping this one seem to be working fine with factory drivers, but I notice Intel found a new driver for the wireless card and I am afraid to upgrade it ... any one else has these issues..

Mine arrived a week ago. Wonderful device. Only problem is applications like Adobe Photoshop are hard to use because their UIs do not scale to such a high screen resolution. I look at that as an Adobe problem though and not a Lenovo problem.

Its windows scaling, i run my yoga 2 pro in 1600x900 so everything works perfectly. If yu dont wanna do that look into some windows 8 tweaks which can open specific applications in different resolutions or within a desktop window(which you can full screen)

Shawn Knowles This trick worked great. It required a reboot before Photoshop adjusted but I am back in business. Thank you.

Shawn Knowles I found that you suggestion works great but somehow the screen resolution is affecting my BlueTooth on my machine. Lower the resolution and I lose BlueTooth. Does this happen to you?

Michael Rubillo I dont think its the resolution that stopped the bluetooth but rather the reboot. The bluetooth is kinda weird, try turn off then on the machine and it should come back. There are also bluetooth drivers you can download from lenovo.

I would really think about buying that, if only display was not as reflective as mirror. Is there any version with mate display? .. watching dark scenes in movie and seeing everything but content of movie is absurd ... same goes with even smallest source of light
