Here is my unboxing and first look at the Lenovo Yoga Tab 13 Android tablet.

I'm pretty glad they're keeping this model type coming because this is honestly just the best form factored tablet for streaming consumption. In the past I've had the Yoga Tab 3 Plus and loved it as basically exclusively a Netflix et al device for whenever I'd be in the hospital, and that's what I'd use this for if I can find it for a decent price.

Saw this tab a few months ago from other channels, like the handle design and is tempting, but I wished they had a SD slot. The USB port needs to be on either the main body like on other tablets or the rotated 90 degrees so you can plug in devices like a TV tuner, mine is about a inch wide and would extend past the base of the tablet, lifting it off the table. Also the pen isn't that good from artist point of view. I believe they have a smaller version with a weaker CPU, a SD slot, and no HDMI in. Would love to see a 15" version to compete with the S8 Ultra, same CPU, metal back to sink the CPU heat away, Wacom pen tech, a SD slot, and a 3.5 jack built-in. Could ditch the cloth back also.

Lenovo has never given more than 1 OS upgrade on any tablet (you can check their upgrade matrix, at least they are transparent). This one is getting Android 12 but they have committed to no more, not even 12L (which they committed to for the Tab 12 pro). 12L is not necessarily coming to all tablet getting 12. Not a deal breaker, but I wish Lenovo committed to more than 1 OS upgrade. Other than that it's a nice device, wish they had added microsd though

Not that fully portable without Sim card. Deal breaker for me.
