I wouldn't say it's a great portable monitor though. 60Hz, decent screen resolution (at best) and quite expensive if I would only like a portable monitor. BUT if you want a big tablet that functions as portable screen. I'd say it's the best.. due to the fact it is the only one so far. Man, I wish it had 90 Hz and 12 GB RAM.. I'd instantly buy it.

I just got a Galaxy Tab S7+ and love it. It can also be a second screen for windows and it's got all the boxes checked. However I'm glad to see more activity in larger screens. This tablet looks impressive. Choice is good. I can't go back to a 10 inch tablet.

This looks like their Yoga Tablet 3 Pro, released long back, with Intel Atom Z8350 Quad Core Processor and the 4 Speaker system tuned by JBL. They even cramped a Pico Projector in that bottom cylinder.

Nice! I had the Yoga Tab 3 Pro with built-in projector and more recently swapped it for a Yoga Smart Tab. Once you've had a Lenovo tablet, you can't go back! It's in the JBL x Dolby Atmos sound (it's really really really good) and the kickstand (e.g. I use it in airplanes, flip it out 180 degrees style, shove it in the magazine holder of the seat in front of me and I have my own personal in-flight entertainment system!). This is definitely on the list to get next... however... in China it like launched at converted 429,- EUR. In the EU itself they're asking for €799! Like, there's just no way! It's cool, but not 'let's pay like a 85% premium'-cool.

Finally got the stylus. It ALSO works on the Microsoft surface pro. And the surface pro stylus works on this, but the Microsoft stylus doesn't line up directly with the line being drawn under the tip. Luckily the Lenovo stylus works JUST as well on both the this yoga and the Microsoft surface pro. So if I only could take one to use on both, I would take the Lenovo precision pen 2

@War it will have one year of upgrades at best, on the short term it's not a big deal unless you are worried about not having security updates (some people are), on the longer term the issue is that Apps start to become incompatible and/or stop working (for instance several apps do not run anymore on my Lenovo yoga tab 2 pro, for instance onedrive stopped syincing a few years ago already)

Ive always been a fan of the Yoga tablet. I was using the Yoga 2 few years back and intend to get this new one to replace my current Huawei mediapad. There's an 11 inch version of this albeit lower specs from what I've heard. I'd most likely get that vs this as it's too big. Point is - any chance you'd review the 11 inch version? 🙂

THANK YOU LENOVO for putting the wattage on the charger. I literally spent like 2 hrs with my label maker putting the wattage on all of my chargers, so it was easy to see. Yes, they all have them on the bottom, sometimes black on black, black on gold, grey on grey, hard to see. Also, I only have about 100 of them. SO... nice to be able to see their power at a glance.

For 2899 RMB, I will say it's a great buy, the sound quality is better than my 1st gen 12.9 iPad Pro and 2020 11 iPad Pro. The only downside is the plastic build and maybe screen brightness.

If you don't care for the handle or the monitor feature, I would recommend you to get the Lenovo Pad Pro 2021 instead of this. Much better value for the price. The screen is much better as it's an OLED panel instead of LCD on the Yoga, and not to mention that it's QHD @90hz.

For an Android tablet to have HDMI IN support, that is a interesting proposition. But at $680, I can get myself a UPERFECT X 13.3" lapdock for $250 in my country and spend the spare on a secondhand flagship Samsung or Huawei or Motorola that supports DeX or EMUI Desktop or Ready For.

SuperDisplay doesn't lag if you use a cable

@@_Digitalguy SuperDisplay is the best software to allow second monitor for windows. SuperDisplay does extra mouse overlay, so it doesn't lag. But the content of the screen doesn't always run at 60 Hz if a lot of the screen changes at the same time. Using USB is better, but native solution like on this Lenovo tablet is the best.

@@Slada1 With my S7+ and superdisplay set to 120hz I haven't noticed any lag, but I mainly use as a second monitor so most of the changes happen on the first.... Anyway hdmi is definitely a plus, especially for things like a Mac etc. but personally I am waiting for the Tab S8 ultra, which will have 120hz, up to 12GB RAM probably the next Snadragon since it comes next year with the S22, and much longer support, and above all a 14.6in screen at only 650gr. I have the old 13.3 yoga tab 2 pro and I had to send it for service so I am not comfortable buying in China

Nice tablet but at £700 for the 128gb version with no expandable storage there's better cheaper options available such as the Galaxy tab s7+ which can be bought now for around £600 or even the xiaoxin pad pro 11inch with the same chipset SD870 with faster ram, an SD slot and is literally half the price £350 imported. The only plus point for this tablet is the HDMI input.

Said no 3.5 mm headphone jack. Don't the the handle. That can be done but a specialised cover with handle. Too bulky to put in bag. It handle is a good idea people would have done it for portable display. Really wanted to like it because of the large screen size and good price.

Great review. My Galaxy Tab S7 handles pdf's much better than my IPad mini 5, which hangs up and lags. The same was true with the IPad 8th generation, which I traded for the Samsung S7.

Hi there i can confirm you that dolby vision and atmos both works with netflix of cours if they video you watch has in it already not all netflix videos has it , but i can say one thing netflix is very bad and drain a lot the battery even when not using the tab

I was interested in this tablet since it was rumored months ago, but after the rumors of a S8 ultra with 14.6in screen at 650 grams (plus amoled, 120hz, up to 12GB RAM and much longer support), I am skipping this. The Tab S8 ultra should not arrive this year, so I'll have to make do with my S7+....

Huge upgrade from the S7 tablet, are you high? This is barely an upgrade to my 2 year old Tab S6... Same RAM (lppdr4 vs ddr5 tho) Bigger screen, but 45% less pixel density, no Amoled Chipset roughly the same, barely worth mentioning the difference since it will use more power due to screen size. No LTE (sim), no SD slot.. tl;dr: This is basically a bigger, miniscule better version of the S6 minus LTE

00 Rayne A7 is/might be a different story. Either way, in terms of specs I'd try to wait for the S8 Ultra unless you really want the HDMI input. And money-wise (at least in EU) the S6 (8GB version) might be a more than worthy competitor

One quick question : Where did you get the global firmware ( for European market )? YT-K606F_S200097_210626_ROW => This did not work on my unit. Re-flashing the firmware itself was successful like the clip you are showing to us, but while the unit was being updated in an Android OS and, after the reboot, the unit has become bricked...

Kinda hoped this would have Chrome OS. Having Android instead of Chrome OS is so limiting for a Tablet PC that is this expensive and a deal breaker for me. They could have released 2 versions of each Yoga Tabs, one with Android for Entertainment, and the other with Chrome OS for Productivity. Maybe next year Lenovo....

I think Chrome OS would make it much more expensive, cuz Android is free, and the conditions for Chrome OS are kinda diffucult, so Chrome OS devices usually have cheap hardware for their price. I think Windows could be good, especially with Win 11 that has Android app support.

I see no reason for chrome OS. Productivity on android is fine and chrome OS doesn't support most regular .exe or games. Plus has many problems correctly opening android apps. Might as well just use Linux on the android version.

I don't recommend buying Yoga tab 13, but If you do, You have to buy Yoga pad pro. stupid OS having differences with Chinese firmware deleted powerful functions. I have reasons more and more and more! Both are a totally different tablet. If you get Yoga pad pro but not Yoga tab 13, you can get a chance for powerful productivity functions. It could use just as a monitor. BUT that's all. Other than that, you're just holding a video device with a large screen.
