I have this tablet. It replaced an older small Yoga tablet. Yes it's quite big. But it's truly a fantastic media machine and superb as a portable monitor. The stand is useful and it has tremendous battery life. The performance is good. It's a great tablet. I think it may be discontinued as it's no longer on the Lenovo UK site. I'm glad I grabbed one before they discontinued it.

What's going on with that finger ! I have the 11 inch version of this tablet - I LOVE the stand and big speaker. I wish Lenovo would continue with this design, but include cellular/GPS and fingerprint sensor. It's my favorite tablet, better than my Samsung or iPad tablets. Keep the stand please Lenovo !!!!

Despite it's flaws, that HDMI input is something I could really make use of (as a portal monitor, and the second screen to my PC) so this is the only tablet for me really. The £550 price tag is quite hefty here in the UK though!

I found it's the perfect match with the Logitech MX Keys Mini keyboard as the tab's perfect travel companion also as the keyboard has almost exactly the same width besides being an awesome device. The battery bump on the keyboard is even a fit with the bump of the tab if you put the keyboard onto the tab's back and maybe slide it into some sort of laptop sleeve or bag for transportation. That way you create a full fledge laptop on Android since you can use either the Android version of MS Word or e.g. WPS Office which I prefer personally. Managing office on a touch screen is also an extra to appreciate. The Logitech keyboard connects via BT which comes in handy. With a USB-C multi dongle you are good for all kinds of connections incl. card reader and ext. HDD. And with the right case/bag you can fit all together with charger, cables and a mouse. And because the tablet has got quite some power under the hood it can also help with video editing on the go in combination with apps like Inshot, Power Director, KineMaster or Movavi Clips, among others. The perfect mobile solution if you ask me.

@@AndroidDigest Thanks so much, I appreciate it! I just received my Tab 13 together with the Logitech MX keys mini in the post this week and what to say, it's just awesome! I didn't go with MS office but with WPS Office which I am using for a couple of years now. Anyways, the keyboard is just as I assumed before ordering the absolute perfect companion if you are just about office work. Gaming would be different of course. The keyboard connects through BT without needs of a dongle which also didn't come in the box. Also because you have a touch screen you may not even have need of a mouse. The only gripes I have with the Tab is that over here in Germany they still sell it rarely below 600$ equivalent. Yet importing it from e.g. the US doesn't pay off because of high shipping costs and import taxes. I can't help but feeling ripped off kinda... Yet I have a blast and I am glad to not have chosen a Samsung S7 or even S8 over the Lenovo. The kickstand is just great and the speakers.. OMG! They are a delight! Cons: No extendable storage, no SIM, brightness even for indoors is just ok-ish. But as I do office work I just connect an external and portable HDD via some multi dongle and I shall be fine. I am also excited to do my Bible studies with my favorite Bible apps on it.

@@AndroidDigest I need to say that unfortunately the tablet isn't working as desired. I tried to attach a USB-C multi connector w/ card reader and it wouldn't recognize it the SD-card from my camera. After some research I downloaded an app from Paragon but it still doesn't work. Than I tried a OTC card reader and though it was recognized this time, the connection crashed time and time again. That's a real shame! Lenovo didn't integrate a card reader and I thought that's no big deal and I can work around it and now I find I cannot. That is a real deal breaker for me. I am surprised that what Windows does forever now can't be done with Android. I tried to connect my external HDD through the multi connector which also failed to connect. That and the fact that the internal memory is rather small with only 128GB does make the device pretty much useless for me. I bought it from Amazon and will see if I can return it after factory reset. If not, I will have to sell it to retrieve some of the wasted money. I am greatly disappointed to find that Lenovo put out a rather mediocre product here. At least they should have included the SD-card slot. Btw., I connected the OTG card reader to my phone (LG V60) and it worked well. So it's really Lenovo who is to blame for poor software implementation.

I just picked this up. One warning. The tablet is 2k resolution. At 2k you can only use it as a monitor at 53 hz. So gaming doesn't work well as a monitor.

I believe this is the absolute best tablet ever for media, the only gripe I have with this, is that it doesn't have a headphone jack because I still use my favorite wired headphones, plus this could've been my tablet of choice for DJing

The EU will be passing their directive next week to stop OEMs using the headphone jack on their headphones, taken many years, and why OEMs have been phazing out the jack IO. It is part of their environmental push, that we should have just one IO, USB-C. So really need to get use to the future, a dongle permanently attached to your headphones is the best solution.

@@LivingLinux Not sure about HDMI et al, but I assume they will also be asked to switch to USB-C but I am sure the jack will be directed to be removed as it is an old and obsolete tech now, as USB-C is far superior and more flexible. The fine details should be announced this month and I am expecting the jack to be effectively banned, pending the grace period (usually two years).

I think it all started with something like a petition and it is from the time that it seemed as if every mobile phone company had its own charger connection. Now the only one holding out is Apple with the iPhone (but they did implement USB-C with the iPad). The EU is also looking at wireless charging.

Honestly they will be pretty similar. Very similar. Assuming you get them with the precision pen they are supposed to work with I'd say it depends on if you need the kickstand or not, They have pretty similar specs. Both should do well

Software is key component of the overall experience.. so samsung or chromebook is my first pick. Micro hdmi is good feature to use it as external monitor, large battery, good speakers. kickstand is ok, i think simple cover that protect screen and can be used as folding stand is better design. honest review, ty..

I'm with you. I can easily recommend it, if people can overlook the minor issues. But I can't stand that minor software glitch, and I'm someone who wants long term updates on my tablet. But this tablet is still pretty great and unique and worth it for people who can live with minor compromises

Yes, tablets should now last many years and Samsung 4+1 software/security updates makes it an easy choice over Lenovo, whose track record for timely and longeveity of updates is very poor. That would be a deal-breaker from the off, even as the rest is pretty solid.

I think a lot of tablets can but you normally need to buy a usb-c hub for those tablets, this has hdmi built in, which is rare.

Android 13 was recently delivered. I think I got this during the same sale you referenced from Ebay. Honestly, it was a great deal considering it can be used as a secondary monitor on the go. For under $400, it was amazing value, especially as a programming student.

The P12 Pro will be better for sure. This is a little older, with a cool hinge, but a small step down from the P12 Pro

P11 Pro should be the best out of the 3, followed by the Tab 11. The Tab 11 is basically a P11 with a cool kickstand. But it still doesn't have the power of the P11 Pro. Hopefully this helps. I didn't do a Tab 11 video. Just a P11 and Tab 11. But didn't talk about the comparisons in the video. But hopefully this helps

Tablets this big are cumbersome. I hold tablets one handed portrait mode. What this design does is allow me to one hand it. Just like a smaller tablet. By holding it by the battery bump I get a happy in the hand feel. Not smaller tablet happy but happy. I jumped all over it at $379.

Well it's hard to say. Because I don't know what the market is like for other tablets in the UK, and I don't know what the re-seller market is like. Here you can buy a Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 for $500 new on ebay. Sometimes it goes on sale for $600 through Samsung. But 590 in the UK is like $710 in the US. That feels like a steep price for the Yoga 13. It's still a terrific tablet, but may not be the best value for that price. But if all UK tablets have prices that are that inflated, you may want to look around at something like the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE, or the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8. The Tab S7 FE has a similar screen size, it has a slightly slower processor, but everything else is going to be fairly similar, just no built in kickstand. But it should be a lot cheaper. Just depends on the market in the UK, I just don't have a good answer for that!

Not sure. Wish it was cheaper though! A lot of the sales I saw were unique one time deals, many of them have passed now anyways, now the best way to get it the price I shared is second hand on ebay in the US. Either way, I wish you had better prices over there!

All 3 are extremely similar. Huawei won't have Google services so personally I find no play store to be a deal breaker. The Yoga has more screen size. But a slightly worse resolution. But won't be super noticable. The Xiaomi has a 120 hz screen. Not normally noticable when watching content. But noticable when scrolling. Maybe the Xiaomi wins by a small margin overall

Sometimes that high refresh rate comes at a cost of performance and battery life. And a SD 870 is still flagship when your putting it into a tablet. I'm thinking of picking one of these up. Not crazy about Samsung and I can't get myself to go to the dark side (Apple) even though they make the best tablet and have the best app support.

I had a lenovo tab years back and the support ended almost immediately. As much as I hate Apple they have the best support and apps for tablets. Their app support literally destroys Android.

You can still use portable headphones via the USB charging connection.....they supply the lead for this, also, you have bluetooth option as well. I've found no issue with headphones via USB connection because the battery lasts for ages

I like some of the design but the features are lacking for what it is. The 870 is a good entry level flagship CPU that will run GameCube games well. Needs a 3.5mm jack since this can double as a monitor. I would like to see a SD 870, 15-16" metal version that ditches the fabric back, has a 3.5mm jack, has a SD slot, moves the USB C port up toward the display, and better pen support.

@@petreefyedn0ire The Tab S7 should have a SD slot. The S8 Ultra is just about 15". ;) . The 870 is ATM an entry level flagship CPU with the 888 the mid tier, and the 8 Gen 1(8G1) the top tier. The 870 used to be top tier flagship a couple of years ago. Next year as a new chip is release, it be ranked a step down. USB to 3.5 adapters are shit and will put extra strain on the USB port. A built in 3.5 is better since the a is more robust.

The SD870 is a flagship that will handle 99.9% of what you throw at it, there's nothing mid-tier about it. Also, the SD888 in the ultra is underclocked so it is less powerful than should be. Good luck trying to find an SD888 at 600 bucks. Putting extra strain on the port? really? That's the argument you could come up with? The question you should ask is that is there a single tablet that has all these features you listed at a fairly reasonable price, No? Then don't expect them of this one device.

Also the S8 line have the 8 Gen 1 or 8G1 for short, not the 888. I don't have an issue with the 870, it's a good CPU. And yes ports wear out, especially USB micro and C.

Sorry by the way for the late response, honestly they are very close. I'd maybe pick between the P11 Plus and the Yoga 11, since the P11 Plus will be a little better than the P11 for a similar price, and I think it depends on if you want the Yoga 11 kickstand or not.
