A good, straight forward, and concise description of this piece of glass from Canon. The best among the 70-300 series of lens that they offer worthy of its classification as an “L” glass with the red ring around it.

i got one of these Canon 70/300mm F4.5.6L Lens and i had it for 6 years and i use it for Fashion wild life sports celebrities and for video recordings and have traveled to few countries from round the world with it and it very good and SHARP and clear images

Great job. I love this lens, but you cannot lock it at 300mm; only at 70.
