Lentil peas stewed in coconut milk | Trini style

Lentil peas is one of the mostly cooked peas in my country. Lentils with rice, dumplings, stewed meats or steamed fish its all good!

I tried the recipe. Replaced the lentils by sweet potatoe. I didn’t have hot pepper, but I was still delicious 😋. It is a staple now . 🙏🏾 thank you

Hi Lynn girl my wouth is watering.You meal looks amazing reminds me of my mom's.throughout time i make a short version. I stew meat then add peas but ultimately tastes good.Thanks for showing your version.A slice of avocado and it is on. Lol

Hi.. when i was younger i used to enjoy it combined with the meat. Now i just prefer having it alone witht he meat on the side. It's good either way. Avacado is in season so take advantage of it!
