Looks marvelous! I'd add the vanilla to the milk first to make sure it's best mixed in, especially if doing it by hand.

From the time I see all those fruits going in, you got me hook, a sweet bread ain't one without them. There are no doubt delicious. Reminds me of my mother's own recipe and we're from Barbados.

Trini here and oh yes Bajan descendant too. My great great grand mother was from Barbados and my Mom told me she use to make a 'mean' sweet bread, coo coo, amongst other delicious dishes

I suggest you get pen and paper, watch the video , pause and write ...you will then have the recipe ready whenever you want to bake ..That is what I have done on many occasions when recipes were not posted... give it a try ..I am sure it will work for you too.

My mom was a diabetic and no matter how you said don't eat the sweetbread she was always in it.so I stopped making it to keep my sanity. She died three yrs ago so this time is the first time I'll be making sweetbread after 10 yrs and more. I like this one so I'm gonna try it.
