Please understand this isnt some "magical recipe" that can make you gain weight that is NOT what I am trying to say. One recipe won't make you gain weight. Instead this is meant to be ADDED into your DAILY rotation of meals. I eat this regularly as a staple in my diet because it is high in protein (especially after working out) and high in carbs and it contributes to my OVERALL calorie surplus of daily a eating. I purposely design recipes to be high in carbs, calories, and or protein (with calorie dense foods added) to aid in weight gain. That is why I called it a weight gain recipe. In order to gain weight, you need to to eat a diet high in calories, throughout an entire day on a DAILY basis. You have to consume more than you burn. This recipe is just ONE piece of that puzzle. You CAN'T just eat this alone and expect to gain weight. There are NO magic pills or short cuts.

I'm actually a new vegetarian (since march 2021) but I'm feeling your channel! I have been eating a lot of lentils and I love em but I typically eat the same things every week. This recipe looks delicious. Thank you!

Never had vegan butter or plant based milk...🤔 Will have to check that out

Outside of my own homemade plantbased milk, store bought ripple has the best plant based milk to me. Vegan butter I like Earth balance and Miyoko's 😊

Are the lentils already cooked when you add them or so I need to find a recipe on how to cook them
@VeganWithCurves2 жыл бұрын
Yes they are already cooked you can use canned lentils or steamed pre cook lentils found in the grocery store to save time. This is what I did

About how many calories do you think you consume on a daily basis?
@VeganWithCurves3 жыл бұрын
Currently I am not trying to gain. I am just maintaining as I have already gain the amount of weight I desired. So my current calorie will differ from someone trying to gain (like around 2300 -2500 currently). When I was trying to gain, I ate around 3100-3500 calories per day more or less.

Weight gain recipe - how of this do I eat to start seeing weight gain 🤔
@VeganWithCurves3 жыл бұрын
I eat 2 servings of this at a time or one serving paired with a high calorie salad. I make this recipe so much I might have to film this ina what I eat in a day video lol But remember one recipe won't make you gain weight. That is not what I am saying. It is meant to be added into your rotation of meals. I eat this regularly as a staple in my diet because it is high in protein (especially after working out) and carbs and it contributes to my OVERALL calorie surplus of daily a eating. That is why I called it a weight gain recipe. You need an overall diet of high calories on a daily basis PLUS lift weights, to see weight gain.
@sakuraXhinataMix23 жыл бұрын
@@VeganWithCurves I've been trying to maintain that, but it seems like it's so hard to accomplish. I make protein smoothies, too. I'll add this recipe into my staples. I lift weights, but Idk why it's so hard for me to gain weight.
@VeganWithCurves3 жыл бұрын
@@sakuraXhinataMix2 how long have you been doing it? And are you actually tracking your calories to make sure you are getting enough daily? How many calories are your shakes? When I first started to gain weight my shakes where 900 to 1000 calories each and I drunk 2 of them a day. I made sure I got at least 3500 (sometimes 3700 to 4000) calories in a day because I was hard at gaining weight in the beginning and that us what it took for me. (Not saying you need that much as everyone is different). Also with working out, how consistent are you and how much weight do you lift? What type of exercises do you perform? I have videos coming out in upcoming weeks (wish it was sooner but I am a one woman show and these videos take a lot of time to produce and edit) going over more details about mistakes I often see.

@@VeganWithCurves I made the decision about 3 years ago, but its always something interrupting my flow. Everytime I'd start, i was eating between 2300-2500 calories/day. My shakes vary between 700-900 calories, and I usually have one before and after going to the gym. I was a working class, first generation college student with a baby. I had so much to balance and I couldn't compromise on my grades. So, when things got hectic, I had to sacrifice going to the gym. Plus, I wasn't able to eat as much due to lack availability to quick high calorie meals and time/energy. How were able to stay consistent while balancing everything else?
@VeganWithCurves3 жыл бұрын
@@sakuraXhinataMix2 in that situation, you must take it easy on yourself and not make weight gain a priority. If there are food availability issues and things get hectic where other priorities are more important (which is completely understandable), weight gain is not something to focus on. Stability is.
